I have Ph.D. Soil Science (Agriculture) with more than 5 years professional job experience related to my field. I have been the Ph.D. Visiting Scholar at Soil and Water Sciences Department (SWD), Institute of Food and Agricultural Sciences (IFAS), University Florida, USA.
1- Soil survey of the command area, collection and laboratory analysis of the soil and water samples and evaluation for fertilizers requirement of crops. Identification, description and mapping of various soil texture. To describe/ evaluate soils into land capability/ crop suitability ratings for growing of proposed crops under potential conditions and report writing.
2- Feasibility study of agriculture in command area regarding existing agriculture which include land/ soil use, land/ soil capability classification, crop suitability ratings/ evaluation, farm size, land tenure, fragmentation, present cropping pattern and intensities, existing crop yield and production, crop sharing arrangements, farm inputs, farm practices and farm labour.
3- Study of future agriculture development without project having cropping pattern and intensities, crop yield and production and farm inputs.
4- Study with project in future including development/ monitoring approach, cropping pattern and intensities, justification for selection of crops, area build up and developing of cropping intensities, crop yield and production, other factors affecting agriculture, farm inputs, tillage and labour requirements, plant protection measures and agriculture extension services.
5- Study/ evaluate the general features and the characteristics of the soils in order to develop range lands, orchards and scope to bring unproductive land under agricultural production. Preparation of soil maps, land use, land capability classification and crop suitability ratings, soil and water sample collection and analysis from soil and water testing laboratory and report writing.
6- Helping out Engineers, Agronomists, Environmentalists, Horticulturists and other staff regarding soil, water and agriculture related issues/ matters to solve it.
1- Conduct crop-wise field promotion activities as per agreed action plan.
2- Develop field promotion activity plan for own sale unit under guidance of Regional & Zonal Heads.
3- Achievement of crop-wise, product & value wise sales target on monthly & yearly basis.
4- Effective implementation of Go to Market Strategy and other commercial policies and procedures.
5- Execution and implementation of Tahafuz Franchisees polices.
6- Training, monitoring, and coaching of franchisees and field staff.
7- Implementation of stewardship activities.
8- Maintaining and updating potential grower’s list and their product usage data with special emphasis on large growers and Tahafuz promoters.
9- Increase penetration and reach at grower level with support of Tahafuz promoters and fellow farmers.
10- Effectively handle customer complaints with support of supervisor.
