Responsible for establishing and maintaining safety system in accordance with DOPET HSE Policy and Procedure Manual.
➢ Prepare projects HSE Plan, HSE Risk Registers, Environmental Risk Registers, CEMP, ERP, Waste Management Plan, HSE tender documents and utilize HSE resources.
➢ Leads a team of Safety Officers & HSE Coordinator by allocating daily tasks and monitoring daily site work plan.
➢ Be conversant with DOPET Safety Policy and procedure manual and other applicable procedures and requirements and ensure that they are complied with at all DOPET and sub-contractor work sites.
➢ Ensure project specific client HSE requirements are met on sites with adequate support of DOPET HSE Corporate.
➢ Plan and carry out safety audit periodically and report the performance of the implemented safety systems to the HSE Manger and Site management.
➢ Carry out site inspection and daily site safety surveillance effectively to ensure compliance with applicable procedures and safe working practices.
➢ Direct and control safety technicians and / or Fire watchmen
➢ Arrange for regular toolbox talks to be given to DOPET and its sub-contractor employees on safety issues, prior to start-up of the assigned activity.
➢ Promote safety awareness and loss prevention to all employees of the company and its sub-contractors, through group or individual meetings and discussions, posters, and safety campaigns.
Liaise with site medic / Client’s medic if available for ensuring First Aid / treatment of any injury / occupational illness and or Emergency evacuation (Medevac), if warranted.
➢ Maintains OH&S MS documentation in line with ISO 45001:2018 standard.
➢ Record and maintain safety and Environmental statistics for the assigned project site, as required by the company format, for man-hours worked, sub-contractor man-hours, accidents by category including Environmental Incident, days lost, and man hours lost. Provide monthly report to HSE manager.

Design, retain, and execute integrated management system (ISO 9001 and ISO 14001) as per revised standard requirements while carrying out process risk assessment and associated activities. Successfully supervise process risk, hazard risk, and environment risk assessment, noise level monitoring, and light intensity measurement as per standard requirements and guideline. Organize internal & external IMS audits activities in the company and retain records and documents by creating final report and meeting with department for closing of findings, evidence collection and record updating. Ensure legal compliance in the company by providing reports to the management.

• Improved the production process efficiency and safety, reduced waste, and prevented errors and defects by leading 5S, Hygiene & Safety rounds within company locations as per plan.
