Planning/coordinating a strategy to reach out to the communities in Sindh
Planning and implementing awareness programs in rural areas of Sindh with minimal assistance.
Prepare work plans/work schedules for all planned activities and ensure these are submitted to the Program Officers, Program and M&E Managers for approval as per agreed dates of implementation and project cycle.
Responsible to maintain all the data in physical and soft form.
Identification of communities based on strategic objectives of the program.
Conducting Awareness Clinics as per planned targets.
Maintain good relationships with communities after the awareness session.
Networking with governmental organizations, CBOs and CSOs.
Writing Events/Activities Reports.

Coordinate with HR Department for the necessary arrangements of Clinics/trainings.
Promote the LAS work at Provincial levels.
Keep updated attendance sheets of awareness sessions.
Ensure that projected related interventions are implemented by engaging the community institutions (COs,VOs/LSOs) fostered under success programme
With work with community Institutions under SUCCESS for selection of community Resourse Persons (CRPs) to work on community level WASH interventions and selection of VO level agriculture entrepreneurs to be engaged in community level Agriculture and Food Security interventions
Facilitate training events of CRPs,village level sanitary entrepreneurs,VO and LSO for their role in achieving the open defection free status of villages,promotion of water handling practices use of nutritions food
Work with community institutions for improving access of communities to safe drinking water
Keep close coordination with officials of Local Government,PHED,Agriculture,Livestock and Fisheries working at Tehsil and Union council level and engage them in program activities
Record keeping the project activities and provide support to District Project Officer for preparation of project progress report
 In consultation with the existing community institutions conduct the mapping of the Lady Health Workers (LHWs) covered and un-covered population/basties from the target Union Councils assigned to project team in district.
Form the community institutions in form of Community Organization (COs)/Village Health Committee if these already do not exist in the non LHWs covered areas.
CRPs for their household visits and will provide them guidance to conduct the household visits as per strategy.
Monitor the referral of the clients by CRPs to static public and private service delivery points
Ensure proper record keeping of the project at district office and CRP level
Organize and build capacity of the communities to ensure their effective participation in the implementation of the project activities
Conduct need assessment surveys and organize community committees
Identify and organize appropriate capacity building, and technical resources to support project implementation
Coordinate project planning and implementation with monitoring officers, technical support and community leaders
Work closely with team and the Community Committee for beneficiary targeting and other activities
To organize distribution events with support of VCs and other sectors
Conduct health and hygiene sessions in communities to ensure that target population are mobilized and adequately informed regarding health and hygiene issues related to water supply, sanitation and solid waste disposal.
Conduct training of selected community activists, committees on health and hygiene promotion, safe drinking water, to enable them to conduct onward sessions to target communities.
Conduct assessment of beneficiaries, WASH schemes identification, Sign TORs with committees, line departments
Supervise and facilitate trained community activists in health and hygiene promotion sessions.
Develop health and hygiene training materials and modules.
Coordinate with technical staff responsible for construction of water & sanitation structures in the target areas to include hygiene aspect in design and site selection of construction activities.

Conduct Surveys on disaster preparedness with targeted communities
Respect logistics and administrative procedures of CESVI International
Report and participate to internal coordination
Carry out an assessment of the public health (PH) risks, needs and an analysis of the treats to life, health and dignity of the population affected by any disaster. This includes writing up reports, recommendations and contribution to project appraisal.
Work with partners to design and implement a Public Health Promotion program in conjunction with other members of the Public health team ensuring that the links are made with the provision of water and sanitation facilities.
To work with the partner staff to develop clear, realistic and achievable work-plans.
Support partner organizations in the oversight of PHP program, in line with Oxfam policy and agreed standards (as per approved project plans). This includes undertaking rapid assessments, designing, implementing and monitoring of the program
Present regular written reports on progress against objectives as required by the Line manager and ensure that a final report is completed on completion of the contract.
