Yaruq Nadeem is a Faculty Member at NUST Business School (NBS). He holds a Master’s Degree in Innovation, Entrepreneurship and Management from Imperial College London and a Bachelor’s Degree in Economics from Lahore University of Management Sciences (LUMS). He is also a recipient of the Commonwealth General Scholarship and has more than 3 years of industry experience in different sectors and has worked both in Pakistan and United Kingdom.

Market Research and Suggestions
- Designed a comprehensive survey in order to analyse the performance of Olpers products and salesman and to find out the reasons behind the drop in sales
- Conducted a total of 127 surveys in 12 different markets including one-on-one feedback and suggestions from the store owners
- Summarized the findings and presented to higher management
- Concluded that fall in sales of Olpers 250ml pack was due to the pouch packaging as the packs could not be stacked hence wasting \'shelf space\'
- Concluded that shopkeepers were not satisfied with salesman performance as they did not pick up and replace expired products on time
- Suggested the idea a new \'hanging display\' for Olpers 250ml where packs would be hanged on a string instead of being placed on shelf in order to increase their visibility
- Suggested linking incentives for salesman to pick up and replace expired products in a timely manner
Stock Audit/Management Safety Audit
- Conducted the Stock Audit a number of times to check that stock physically present in warehouse matched with numbers in the database
- Suggested a procedure where drivers carrying stock in or out of the warehouse regularly informed the database manager at the warehouse regarding the expected time of delivery or pickup. This would help avoid both shortages and excess inventory
- Conducted the Management Safety of Audit and found out that safety procedures were being diligently followed
