I was currently working with RB Pakistan as Manager Utilities and have core job responsibility of Operation & Maintenance of Utilities along with energy saving initiatives. I am also responsible for execution of projects related to Utilities. I am also site\'s nominated \"competent person\" for safety of pressure systems. I was currently working with Brookes Pharma (Pvt) Ltd as Manager Engineering (Utilities) and responsible for Operation & Maintenance of HVAC System, Boiler, Compressor, Water Treatment Plant. I am also responsible for execution of projects related to Utilities.

PROJECTS
Turbine Control System Upgrade
• Turbomach Turbine Saturn-20 (1.1MW) control system (obsolete)is upgraded to Siemens PLC S7-400. Project included the designing of control system, installation and commissioning.
• Led the project as \"Technical Coordinator\" and completed successfully.
HVAC Remediation Project of Tablet Block
• In order to improve the HVAC system of Tablet block, a project is in progress which includes installation of 150TR Screw Chiller and associated Cooling Tower and Pumps, installation of 2 additional cooling towers, maintaining required pressure differential in manufacturing area etc.
• Leading project team of client (Abbott) and successfully executing the project as per plan (Budget & Timelines) in coordination with consultant & contractor.
Energy Conservation Project
• Responsible for execution of Energy Conservation Project in coordination with consultant, project scope includes automatic controlling of cooling towers & chilled water controlling for AHU.

DRINKING WATER PLANT (commissioned on 15th May, 2014)
• In order to reduce the cost of Drinking Water from outsource suppliers, a project is proposed, utilizing available in-house RO Product Water to produce Drinking Water for In-house consumption as well as commercial sale (In future).
• Led a team comprising of Utilities Engineer/Operators and successfully designed, installed and commissioned Drinking Water Plant (PSQCA certified).
Quality Management System - ISO 9001:2008
I was also worked with a team comprising representatives from each department of organization under \"Quality Assurance Department\" as \"Departmental MANAGEMENT REPRESENTATIVE\" for preparation & implementation of \"Quality Management System - ISO 9001\".
As a Team Leader, I was responsible for;
• Reviewing & studying designs/drawings (P&IDs, Piping Layout, Isometrics, structure drawings)
• Procurement & technical verification of quotations for Pumps, Valves, Pipes & fittings
• Execution planning including timelines & resource organization
• Erection/installation (includes making of work plan, reporting weekly & Daily progress & coordination with consultant & contractors)
• Commissioning of following projects
Projects assigned to my Team were;
• Brackish Water Ultra Filtration & Reverse Osmosis Plant of 6500 m3/day capacity of product water.
• 24” & 16” Diameter Natural Gas Supply Pipeline (1.1km & 1.2km long respectively) from SSGC metering station’s downstream flange to tie in points at DRI Plant & Power Plant. Pneumatic Pressure tested at 13.2 bar successfully (as per ASME B31.3).
• Design & construction of Treated Water Pumping Station of maximum flow 260m3/hr at 10 barg pressure and Make-up Water Supply Pipeline.
• 12” Diameter HDPE Water Supply Pipeline (3.5 km long) to supply potable water.
• Installation & Erection of Clarifier, Cooling Tower and centrifugal pumps for Machinery & Process Water.
• Fire Water Pump House (2 x 1500 gpm @ 15 barg) as per NFPA 20, Fire Water Tank (API 650)
• 10” Diameter Fire Water Network Pipeline (1.6 km long)
• Installation of Nitrogen Tank, Vaporizers & associated piping
• Fabrication & Installation of Pipe Rack Structures, Diesel Tank Structure & different pipe supports
