Based on accurate knowledge of Cesvi mandate and country strategy, the field engineer will be requested during the implementation of the field activities and any other phase of the implementation of the project - to help the senior staff to find and propose potential areas and sectors for possible future interventions.

The type of CPI will be determined by the communities themselves based on the felt need and priority of the project in their Village Development Plan (VDP). A tentative list may include, water and sanitation, health and hygiene, missing facilities at schools and health centers, community-managed irrigation channels, floods protection arrangements, renewable energy (solar lighting systems) street pavements, c.c ink roads, Culverts, Agricultural drain canal and Direct Hand Pumps, Direct Hand pump for Drinking and Washing purpose, Making Wash rooms, any other such needs identified and prioritised by the communities.
CPI (Community Physical Infrastructure Scheme) projects will be linked to the needs prioritised by the communities. They may include WASH, education, health, link roads,street pavements, culverts, irrigation, renewable energy, flood protection arrangements etc. These projects will be managed, built and maintained over time by the communities, who will also establish and run Operations and Management (O&M) committees and community savings systems.
Ensure water quality tests especially in drinking water CPI\'s for the identification and selection of safe source of water. 
Affidavit from the owner of land/water etc. for the construction of CPI.
NOC will be required for extension, rehabilitation of education & health facilities (government scheme).
No legal dispute over the site or land adjacent to the site for construction.

The project “UN- Maternal & Child Stunting Reduction Program PATs- Pakistan Approach Total Sanitation” in district Naushero Feroz Taluka Moro Sindh Province.

Responsibilities;
 Resilient and improved physical infrastructure and WASH facilities at the selected locations/ community enabling them to have sustainable low cost WASH infrastructure.
 379 villages have action plan for further prevention from ODF & make the cleanliness at all times.
 It is observed that 4032 new latrines constructed after the triggering as change their habits.
 379 Demo latrines have been initiated /constructed (granted) as demonstration to attract the local community for further initiative. Demo latrines of different designs (Dry Pit and pour flush latrines) have been constructed in the targeted area as demonstration to attract the local Community for further initiative. The district field engineer along with trainee Masons construct different types of latrines and in the construction process the village sanitation committee (VSC) and community members worked as volunteers for installation of Demo latrine.
 147 masons trained & used their skills in construction process of CLTS & SLTS as per the UNICEF & PATS approach.
 At end of project, total of 4032 households have soap in their dwellings and they adopted the hand washing with soap, particularly after using latrine, before and after taking meals.
