- Assist in Administration of IT Services (Active Directory, Email, Filer, Symantec Antivirus)
- Preparation of IT annual procurement plans and assist for budgeting & procurement purpose
- Preparing Bill of Quantities (Scope of Work, Deliverables and etc.) for IT related procurement, and assist in technical evaluation of bids inline with organization rules and PPRA guidelines
- Assist in execution of IT related capital projects (procurement to sign off)
- Assist in formulate and implementation of departmental policies and procedures
- Assist in response and timeline of Audits (Internal/External) and RCSA & its risk mitigation plans
- Supervision of Service Level Agreements (SLA) for IT Systems and Services
- Assist in official correspondence with departments and vendors
- Prepare noting(s), presentation(s), report(s) and action plan(s) for subsequent submission to management
- Maintains currency of knowledge with respect to relevant state-of-the-art technology
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

- Managing & maintaining resources of Citrix server through XenCenter
- Assist in managing and monitoring of Linux servers for smooth operations
- Managing Symantec Backup Exec 12.5 for Windows and Linux Backup on Schedule
- Managing VMware ESX / ESXi server and cluster resources through VMotion
- Managing VMware VCenter Server & VRealize Operations Manager with web Client 
- VMware DRS, HA and FT
- Administration of NetBackup Master Server
- File system backups and application based backups of VM Level, Oracle, SQL, Lotus Domino
- Restoration of backups on monthly to ensure the data protection
- Duplication of backups from disk to tape cartridges and replication to remote sites 
- Perform daily auto back-up and monthly manual back-up onto storage devices
- Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

·      Maintaining and Monitoring Meezan Bank’s major 24/7 Data Center.
·      Monitoring & report the status of AIX and Linux servers.
·      Maintaining & managing inventory of backup tapes during DR Drill as per policy.     
·      Maintain technical specification documentation.
·      System state Backups of AIX Servers, Linux and Windows based servers on tapes through   IBM TL (TS 3200) on scheduled.
·      Taking HMC backup on removable media & backups of IBM Power Machine E870 on tapes.
·      Installation of different OS on IBM Server's (x3650), HP Server’s (ML 350 G5) and Dell PE 2900.
·      Installation and managing of different OS on IBM Blade Center HS21, HS22, HS23.
·      Troubleshooting / monitoring System Status using Nagios Monitoring tool and provide 1st level Support round the clock.
