Who else will be more concerned and interested to work in a development sector than a first grade child who had heart problem (Large VSD) and used to walk all the way more than three kilometers each side just to attend the open-air school because there was no education facility available in his small village and no road, no bridges or any transportation mean was available to get to next village. At that school no amenities (class room, toilet or any other) were available except sitting under the mulberry tree and there was one village teacher for more than 200 students. I can still recall all those hardships I have been through. I am telling you about a small beautiful and scenic village Munjai located in the mountainous region of Pakistan, District Dir (Lower), Khyber PakhtunKhwa. A region that was under the control Nawab Shah jehan, who banned education in his territory. In my land, terrorism breeds on illiteracy, under-developed infrastructure, inaccessibility, poverty and lack of opportunities. I would also like to share that I have witnessed live fighting helicopters in the air during the time of Military operations against Taliban like watching a Hollywood movie, I have heard sirens from helicopters alarming us laid-down on the ground while we were sitting in college, I have many school friends who have lost their lives, hands and feet by Toy-Bombs or land mines, I still remember many attacks on our land since my college life, I also remember all those attacks including suicides bombing where I myself has had the luck to survive.
Foregoing in view, my interests in (Social Sectors) Gender discrimination's, migration, militancy, IDPs, gender violence, barriers to women educational and political empowerment, Folklore's, as since childhood I have seen and struggled with difficulties, destruction, under development and inaccessibility. Having a bachelors degree in Statistics and economics, with blend of a masters degree in Sociology helps me in understanding the challenges of unprecedented problems in our under developed area that results in complexity of understanding and solving these problems. to understand its roots causes to and to find solution, I got admission in PhD Sociology at the Department of Sociology, Quaid-i-Azam University, Islamabad. In addition to the academic qualifications, I gained more than 5 years of diverse professional experience by working in the development organizations (NGOs, Private and Public Sectors), and I have successfully developed and honed my abilities as well as basic skills needed for effective and efficient development with the focus on societal problems and to find best solutions for that problems. I worked in different organizations and attended different kind of conferences, seminars and workshops to understand and learn more to serve our country. I presented different kind of research papers on different issues.
I am looking forward to an opportunity which would enable me to utilize my educational skills and God gifted talent thereby facilitating me in polishing my abilities in the most creative and challenging manner. I believe that my analytical and organizational skills, communication and public relations skills, and creativity in tackling problems can make a positive contribution to any field. Apart from my professional experience.
