Abdul Wahab possessing more than fourteen years of professional experience with both humanitarian and corporate sectors which includes both leadership and management roles. During the last twelve years of professional career within humanitarian sector; he has been leading the Monitoring & Evaluation role with international humanitarian organizations in Sindh, Balochistan and Peshawar provinces of Pakistan.


Being M&E professional, he has been heading the MEAL department and managing project Monitoring & Evaluation activities of multiple projects on Shelter, WASH, Food Security & Livelihoods (FSL), DRR, Climate Change, Education, Protection, Health, Cash Injection, and also the research assessments as well. During the tenure of employment, he had opportunity to lead the M&E activities for Health camps, Food Basket, Cash Voucher, NFIs and cash transfer distribution for emergency programs funded in Sindh, Peshawar and Balochistan provinces. Additionally, he has been handling the Feedback and Complaint Response Mechanism, with both ACTED and International Rescue Committee.


At present while working as MEAL Manager with International Rescue Committee since 2018, he has been leading the monitoring and evaluation activities for multiple projects including the emergency response in Balochistan province. Additionally, involved in designing and planning various rapid need assessment for flood, drought, locust attack, COVID 19 response and Seed Security Assessment as well.


During the course of employment, the key responsibilities include Developing M&E framework, data collection tools, designing and implementing various assessment, budget management, planning, resource management, supporting program in tracking project activities, coordination with partner organization and other stakeholders, database management, Feedback and Complaint response mechanism and analysis/reporting, as and when required internal or external by the donners as proposed. Based on learning from COVID 19 situation, Abdul Wahab possessing the skill to manage remote working by efficient utilization of technology.


Abdul Wahab has understating of working on health, education and emergency response with Afghan refugees, and host communities in Balochistan.


Abdul Wahab possesses excellent technical expertise of data analysis using pivot, manual formulation, power BI, CommCare and kobo tools as well. In addition to this, Abdul Wahab has basic understanding of NViVO and STATA tools.
