 Provide 24/7 operational and maintenance support of all the equipment needed to support the satellite transmission for MCPC signal and SCPC Signal.
 Coordinating, frequency assigning to different DSNG’s active in other cities, as well giving online technical support.
 Provide Technical Support on Telephone to the hub sites. If the Support is not enough then have to visit the site to solve the problem.
 Supervised and participated in various VSAT which includes the various technologies like MPEG-2, MPEG-4, DSNG, DVB-S, DVB-S2, SCPC, and MCPC,
 Coordinated with occasional satellite space & service provider for National and International Transmission Equipment Procurement, cost management and coordination for procurement and technical support like, Tandberg, Advent, C-Com, Swedish, Comtech, Agilis and etc.
 Frequency Space Segment and carrier management (C and Ku band).
 Routine and Preventive maintenance.
 Time to time updating in house cable head-end service on demand.
 Checking signal Quality, signal strength and Dish alignment (Checking line of side).
 In depth knowledge of RF units like BUC, LNB HPA and other component in RF links
 Complete knowledge of installation of VSAT antenna’s all sizes ranging from 0.75m to 4.9m of various vendors
 Satellite C-Band, Ku-Band, Ka-Band RF Terminals, HPA (3 Watt to 100 Watt), SSPA, RF converter, Up/Down converters, transceiver, LNA, LNB all hardware testing and repairing on modules level as well as components level.
 Implementation & testing of satellite based networks, Frequency Coordination, Interference Analysis, link budgeting.
 Thorough experience of setting up SCPC, MCPC, VSAT satellite Earth Stations.
 Basic understanding of satellite test equipment e.g. spectrum analyzer.
 Manage all NOC Operations 24/7 for Live Transmission
 Installation & operations of Encoders, Modulators, IRDs,
 Fabrication and installation of DSNGs
 Installed Earth Station components e.g. dish antennas, tran

Design and conduct labs in the Microprocessor and Digital Design area as per departmental requirements
Operation, maintenance and inventory management of lab equipment and consumables
Preparation and grading of laboratory and other exams.
Selection and upgrading of lab equipment as required
Any other duty assigned by the department/supervisor
