Beaconhouse is the flagship educational institution and the largest school system of its type in the
world. Being an Assistant Manager I am responsible to manage and maintain the whole VMware based
virtualized and Physical Server infrastructure of Beaconhouse Head office

Managing Exchange Server 2007 running with Edge transport server and Symantec Mail security to
ensure the uninterruptable availability of emails to the 12000+ Active mailbox enabled users of
Beaconhouse Group across the world.
Working on IBM, HP, and Dell Rack mounted and Blade Servers (M1000e Blade chassis & M620
blade servers) with coordination of hardware support vendors.
Managing and troubleshooting Microsoft Servers, Active Directory domain controller, DHCP,
Fileservers servers, SQL Servers, Antivirus Server (Sophos) Esxi and vCenter Servers.
Managing ISA and TMG servers to provide Internet access to the users and to ensure a secure
accessibility to the production and live servers.
Managing Ruckus Wifi infrastructure and equipment to ensure the wireless internet availability
everywhere inside the building.
Ensuring Regular backups and efficient storage management of Beaconhouse using Symantec
backup exec 2012 and Veeam Backup and Replication.
Performing Configuration of NAS, SAN, DAS and IBM Tape libraries, as and when needed.
Research and development of How-To\'s serving for various processes to provide users and remote
site regional offices IT Officers.
Monitoring and Liaising with ISP for problem resolution, where required.
