Act as the Federation’s Representative in Sindh Province and provides leadership to floods response operation staff active in the operational areas.
Work closely with the PRCS- Manager Operation, Hub coordinators, and branches staff for the implementation of the flood Response Operation in line with the agreed plan of action.
Support the NS and IFRC technical program teams in running field activities for specific programs, Relief, WSR, HHWT and public health and others.
Serve as a link between the IFRC/NS operations strategy and implementation plan and the activities outlined in Sindh province.

Coordinate and liaise with internal and external partners in the assigned geographical area or operation component:
Represent the IFRC in planning and coordination meetings and external relationships/ networking, in the assigned geographical area.
Support the organizing/facilitating of Movement coordination meetings chaired by the NS; IFRC and other Movement partners as needed.

Ensure close linkage and co-operation with different NS and IFRC managerial and technical sectors.
Ensure activities are coordinated with communities and local actors, Participating National Societies (PNS), ERUs and rapid response personnel/teams in the area of responsibility in the assigned geographical area
Liaison with UN, NGO, Government resources, etc. to the NS and relevant technical sectors of the RCRC operation in the assigned geographical area.

Work closely and support local branches of the NS in area of responsibility. Support the branch in building capacity.

Assess socio-political, humanitarian and security situations and gaps in area of responsibility.
Host visitors, donors, and delegations and provide operational updates as necessary.
Ensure staff safety and security by adhering to and communicating policies and regulations to all staff (PNS and NS) in the assigned geographical area.
Provide security management support for IFRC in the hub area as needed.
Liaise with government and non-government agencies within the assigned area for the smooth implementation of IFRC movement.
Ensure high-quality accountability standards and ensure compliance with relevant.
Administer the Field Offices and support Services provided through field operation.

Operational and Strategic Support – Implementing the Minimum Standards
Support PMI and shelter cluster to ensure that all programs and operations under the Emergency Plan of Action are implemented in accordance with the Red Cross and Red Crescent Minimum Standards for Protection, Gender and Inclusion in Emergencies.
Support operations distributing dignity kits and solar lamps for lighting, and the establishment of women and child friendly stations according to the Emergency Plan of Action for Sulawesi.
Work with sector leads to ensure gender, age, disability, health status and social status are considered in the design and implementation of Shelter/NFI, WASH and Health programs, with a target of ensuring equitable participation of women, men, girls and boys.
Technical Capacity Building of PMI
Working with the shelter cluster, PMI focal point, train PMI staff and volunteers in the Dignity Access Participation and Safety (DAPS) framework and Minimum Standards and the implementation of Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV) prevention, mitigation and response activities, including establish and/or strengthen referral pathways for SGBV and ensuring access to multi-sector response services (health, psychosocial support etc) .
Ensure child protection referral pathways are available, understood, and socialised and establish GBV referral and incident management and monitoring.
Coordinate information with the Government at all levels, Shelter cluster, Protection Cluster, and other relevant actors, including sharing information regarding SGBV, including supporting the establishing of SGBV referral pathways, and identification of roles and responsibilities of stakeholders in the management of cases and incidences, child trafficking, and exploitation/abuse of vulnerable groups (including children).

Steered meeting with PRCS Provincial Branch Secretary, PNS, federation delegates, and ICRC to design and administer mechanisms for information and share knowledge with various partners. Supervised emergency operations during disasters and other areas, as well as executed activities within the emergency operations including DREF, EA from PRC DM unit and IFRC management. Analyzed financial and narrative information for ICBRR program to supervise PRCS NHQ/ provincial branches on timely and adequate reports of IFRC supported activities. Communicated humanitarian activities and mission to key internal and external stakeholders through interaction with red cross, red crescent movement partners, and other key actors.
• Pivotal role for the PRCS provincial branches and gender & diversity within the ICBRR Programme and facilitated ICBRR branches in attaining mandatory support from technical departments of IFRC Country Office.
• Participated in workshops, meetings, conferences, and consultations with agencies and presented support in efficient and sustainable service delivery in ICBRR and Disaster Management field as per OP through PRCS.
• Functioned in close collaboration with international, governmental, and non-governmental agencies with relevant technical unit of the Pakistan Country Office.
• Strategically positioned as a Focal Person for integrated community-based risk reduction programme-ICBBR and facilitated PRCS in designing emergency operations including utilization of IFRC global and regional tool.
• Assured regular follow-up and execution for IFRC Sectorial programs in accordance with the plan of action stipulated in OP through collaboration with IFRC relevant Programme managers.

Liaised with Pakistan Red Crescent (PRCS), international, governmental, and non-governmental agencies and facilitated IRP programme regarding disaster risk management, shelter, Watsan, livelihood, BENCOM, and CBDRM. Spearheaded Pakistan floods, integrated recovery programme services in the Punjab province and maintained knowledge of RC/RC movement/federation policies, strategies, and agreements. Served as point of contact for the communication department in organizing international media visits to field and retaining Head of Delegation and SMT on identifying and resolving issues.
• Assured effective and efficient support delivery services through the Field Office by operating with finance, admin and support service delegates, and staff in Islamabad.
• Cooperated with programme sector coordinators of delegation in Islamabad, while involving in integrated recovery programme for 2010/11 floods for provision of efficient service delivery to most vulnerable through field applications under the RCRC Movement Organizational Framework.
• Established PRCS Branch Secretary Mechanisms for information and knowledge sharing amongst various partners and offered federation leadership to program delegates/staff in 2010/11 flood affected areas.

Managed re-establishment of family links activities within Punjab and established relationship with PRCS field teams, district branches, and ICRC field teams to guarantee operation\'s implementation. Interacted with ICRC Head of Office and ICRC technical delegate to help Punjab district branches in executing planned operation activities as per operational and cooperation action plans. Helped HoO and technical departments in the translation of working tools jointly used with the PRCS district branches into local languages – Punjabi, Satiric and Urdu. Expedited orientation session for newly recruited volunteers at field level in close cooperation with PRCS communication focal person.
• Spearheaded operations to Pakistan floods response in Punjab during the Emergency phase and aided 22000 HH (food and non-food items) from July 2010 to March 2011.
• Competently organized dead body management course for stakeholders, including rescue 1122, Punjab police, civil defense, PDMA, and EDHI for March 2012.
• Played an integral role as an ICRC Focal person for dead body management, Punjab, Pakistan and headed ICRC and PRCS joint assessment team for the Delegation on Floods in 2010.
• Devised capacities building activities at field level and advise the coop and technical team for newly identified operational capacities building needs and ensure that PRCS develop first aid services in accordance with strategy.
• Delivered strategic direction to the district branches in establishing dissemination sessions for promotion of Fundamental Principles of Red Cross/Red Crescent Movement at field level.
