 I have more than 15 years of substantial diversified experience of program /project management, Implementation, Monitoring and Evaluation in development sectors with UN funded projects, NGOs, INGOs, consulting organization and public sector. I have diversified experience of Social mobilization, Project management and capacity building. I have worked with the Micronutrient Initiative (INGO) as Zonal Manager for 6 years. On the basis of my performance, I was promoted as Provincial Program Manager -South Punjab, Micronutrient initiative (Nutrition International) in July 2016. I have worked on senior level managerial positions and developed very close liaison with the Federal, Provincial and local Government officials and have developed good linkages with INGOs, and local NGOs.

The salt iodization (USI), Vitamin A supplementation (VAS), Wheat Flour Fortification (WFF), programs are key programs operational in Pakistan To improve program effectiveness the MI is placing Provincial Managers to provide technical assistance to the Provincial and District Departments of Health, other government departments and industry (salt, flour, oil etc). The Provincial Manager will be responsible for the successful implementation of these programs in his respective province in consultation and coordination with Departments of Health, other government departments, industry (salt, flour, oil etc) NGOs, donors, academic and research institutions. The Provincial Managers will be stationed at their respective Provincial DoH office and report to The Director Pakistan, Nutrition International Islamabad. The Provincial Manager will: 1. Take lead in the constitution of Provincial Task Force/working groups/committees on USI, VAS, WFF, MMNPs, Zinc and other nutrition related interventions. 2. As and when required participate in these Task Force/working groups and act as a resource person and provide technical and programmatic inputs. 3. Provide technical support to the provincial Department of Health and facilitate in all relevant program activities in line with the plan of action/ work plan agreed by the MI at the national level and implemented accordingly at the provincial and district set-ups. 4. Coordinate among the stakeholders i.e. provincial Department of Health, other government departments, active partners, industry (salt, flour etc), NGOs, donors, academic and research institutions. 5. Ensure quality assurance; submit reports on implementation of MI assisted programs along with suitable recommendations to DoH & District Health Management Teams for improvement. 6.  Meetings with Executive District Officers (Health) and District Focal Person of IDD/USI Program and sharing with them the observations of field visits to ensure the rectification measures by the department.
 Liaison with other departments and NGOs to ensure the promotion of use of iodized salt

 Establish and maintain database of community Based Organizations, PTC’s/ SMC’s and other cultural groups.
