Job Responsibility #1:  Management of Nutrition Activities and Strategy

Ensure a consistent and integrated CARE response to the nutritional needs with holistic approach to the nutrition programming in the area that creates credibility of our actions.
Develop project implementation plan including procurement, distribution, spending plans and coordinate with all relevant stakeholders (Implementing partner, CARE MEAL, finance, admin and logistics departments) for timely and quality implementation of emergency response activities.
Supervises the technical work of partner in nutrition interventions and provides adequate constructive feedback and render technical support to partner teams.
Ensure that the technical protocols, manuals, guidelines and forms used in the field are consistent to nutrition programming protocols and in line with national guidelines.
Plan, with local partners, and lead appropriate assessments of nutrition needs and capacities in target areas.  Analyze assessment data and synthesize findings in the form of concise and timely reports with clear recommendations.
Ensure strict compliance of project activities with CARE International policies and procedures and with relevant donor regulations and agreements. Analyzes the project activities and results against the internationally validated indicators (Sphere standards and CARE standards) and propose improvements and modifications, if need be, in collaboration with the Team Leader/ HPM and Head of Field Office.
Take lead in devising targeting strategy for CMAM activities in intervention areas in consultation with nutrition stakeholder for effective nutrition outcomes and impacts.
Work closely with FSL and other sector teams in developing SOPs for integrated work modalities to ensure holistic support to food insecure families that result in greater nutrition outcomes.
Orient partner organizations and staff not engaged in direct nutrition programming on nutrition activities (EFSL and WASH actors)
Assess, design and implement appropriate training programs to equip and upgrade knowledge and skills of partner in field.

Job Responsibility # 2: Effective Monitoring and Evaluation System and Reporting

Work in collaboration with PDQ and MEAL Manager/ Specialist in setting monitoring and performance benchmarks for the CMAM program.
Works with the MEAL dept to review and design M&E plan and data collection tools to support participatory monitoring on progress against SAM and MAM program indicators and train relevant staff of partner.
Supports, monitors and assist in quality of field data collection, consolidate, analyze and share findings widely for learning purposes and info sharing.
Contributes to the elaboration by reviewing the reports generated by partner on CARE internal and external reports (proposal, quarterly, final reports), with respect of the formats and deadlines.
Develop user-friendly reporting templates for monthly activity reports (compilation of the activities on the base(s) and activity report) with a qualitative look at the project and share the consolidated reports with Team Leader and EPP Coordinator.
Supports partner team to develop quality monthly activity reports presented to the health and nutrition authorities as and when required.
In coordination with relevant team members at CO, ensure the preparation of a timely program delivery and submitting the donor reports on project activities in compliance with internal CARE requirements and relevant external donor requirements.
Develop lessons learned and issue logs to inform senior management and EPP with rigorous follow ups and improving programming activities.

Job Responsibility #3:  Coordination and Liaison with Govt. and External Actors

Support in identifying and participates together with partners to nutrition and health meetings (with NGOs, MoH, UNICEF, WFP, WHO and donors) at field level and Islamabad as required.
Coordinate with relevant provincial authorities to initiate process of NOC and govt. permission to work in district.
Coordinate with the provincial health and nutrition cells, and other nutritional NGOs, UNICEF and WFP and local level, specifically EDO and PPHI for consolidated response.
Participating regularly in nutrition cells meetings and with all relevant partners at local level and participate to technical coordination forum.
Collect data from formal or informal meeting with other partners to get information on the nutrition needs in other areas of the country, and propose actions (assessments, surveys, program implementation) accordingly
Support the Team Leader that coordination and mainstreaming activities arising from alliances/consortia in the country are vigorously followed up.

Job Responsibility # 4: Program Supplies

Establish and connecting Nutrition interventions for the required support on CMAM program supplies from UNICEF and WFP.
Ensures that all nutrition supplies’ call-forwards are developed according to the required formats for both UNICEF and WFP.
Supports the Program managers follow the appropriate reporting procedures for monthly supplies accountability.
Ensure that supplies are procured timely and all PPP are developed in close working with partners and CARE operation team.

Job Responsibility # 5: Communication

Communicate regularly with partner for follow up, troubleshooting and technical and strategic advice.
Communicate with the logistics and administration departments in order to have a good follow up of respective departments (supply requests, stocks, pharmacy, etc. and budget and expense follow ups) and solve problems as they arise.
Communicate with other technical department in (WASH, FSL) for the information collection, understanding on the nutritional context, and coherence of intervention.
Other technical departments should be systematically consulted for any proposal writing for information sharing and analysis of the field situation. Survey/Assessment report which collects WASH or FSL information should be shared with and validated by respective coordinators to ensure integrated formulation and validity of recommendations.
Communicate externally with the other organizations and authorities on a regular basis under the supervision of Team Leader.

This position was based in Jamshoro, at the DHO Office, Jamshoro, Sindh. In my role as the MNHN Coordinator in the District Health Officer\\\'s office in Jamshoro, Sindh, I was responsible for ensuring the quality implementation of mother and child care initiatives. I provided both administrative and technical supervision to Kangaroo Mother Care Wards within the district. Working closely with the District Health Officer, the Sindh Lady Health Workers Program office, Midwifery Schools, and other health facilities, I played a key role in program management and field office strategy.
My duties included conducting technical training and capacity-building sessions, and monitoring routine activities and campaigns. I successfully trained over 50 medical practitioners, including gynecologists, pediatricians, general practitioners, staff nurses, technical staff, and administrators. I also organized and facilitated numerous training sessions for Lady Health Workers, Community Health Workers, and Community Midwives on topics such as micronutrients, premature child care, and Kangaroo Mother Care.
In addition, I led various international campaigns in collaboration with the district administration, which included awareness-raising walks, radio programs, seminars, and conferences. My role involved program development, fundraising coordination, monitoring and evaluation, and linkage development with provincial clusters and working groups. I maintained active donor liaison and networking and coordination with humanitarian actors in the region.

Project Officer/District Lead (Tharparkar)

This position was based in Tharparkar, during the services I managed the resilience development in the community project in Tharparkar, the project was  funded by UN-WFP, aimed at flood-affected populations. I was responsible for both districts (for a short tenure), overseeing programs, operations, finance, administration, and human resources.




I developed training manuals on topics such as Food Security, Nutrition, Livestock Management, and more. I engaged and trained 2,226 beneficiaries, and facilitated 1,200 women in household repairs during six payment cycles. A significant achievement was opening 2,226 digital mobile accounts for beneficiaries, enhancing their financial inclusion.
Through the project, community infrastructure improved, agricultural productivity increased, and socio-economic conditions were uplifted through cash transfers and vocational training. I also established an equipped Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) and a technical working group, ensuring sustainability through the Revenue Department in Chachro.
I supervised a diverse team including finance, logistics, HR officers, WASH Engineers, and training officers. I coordinated with technical working group, humanitarian actors, and donors, contributing to program development and fundraising. Additionally, I managed monitoring and evaluation, ensuring the project\'s success and alignment with strategic goals.

This position was based at the AWARE head office in Umerkot, and the project interventions were in Tharparkar. The project “Fighting Poverty in Drought-Affected Communities by Improving Education, Health and Promising -Site Appropriate Agriculture Through the Use of Renewable Energy” funded by “tere des homes”. 




My responsibilities included comprehensive program management, from creating detailed implementation plans and conducting regular assessments to ensuring compliance with AWARE policies and donor regulations. I managed the MEAL team, WASH Engineer, Finance & Admin Officer, LHVs, Social Mobilizers, and consultants. Reporting directly to the donor.
Key achievements included establishing model schools, enhancing health systems, and implementing solar-powered water schemes. I promoted field office strategy, program development, and fundraising coordination. I also facilitated linkage development, engaged with provincial clusters/working groups, and maintained donor liaison and coordination with humanitarian actors.
Through advocacy, capacity building, and innovative approaches, I ensured sustainable improvements in education, health, and agriculture, ultimately fostering resilience against poverty, water shortages, and hunger.

District Nutrition Officer (Technical Lead)

This position was based in Tharparkar, Sindh through the project \"Accelerated Action Plan for the Reduction of Malnutrition and Stunting” funded by the Health Department, Sindh Government. Through this project we covered a population of 1.1 million. I managed and monitored activities through 828 Community Health Workers, supported by Taluka Health Supervisors and CHW Supervisors. We screened 160,000 children and 80,000+ pregnant and lactating women, providing essential services like deworming, micronutrient supplementation, and referrals.
During COVID-19, with UNICEF, WFP, and WHO support, I extended mobile OTP services and managed various nutrition programs. I supervised projects funded by the World Food Program, UNICEF, and others, ensuring strong coordination with governmental and non-governmental stakeholders.
Key areas of my role included program management, monitoring and evaluation and team management. During the services, I maintained active participation in provincial nutrition working group, representing the Shifa Foundation. My responsibilities also encompassed field supervision, networking, donor liaison, and procurement and logistics management.

My role involved supervision of program management, developing field strategies, and ensuring program implementation. I maintained the close coordinated with PPHI, Health Facilities, the District Health Office, the District Nutrition Officer, and other stakeholders. Represented Shifa Foundation on different district and provincial level platforms, like technical working clusters and nutrition working groups and CMAM Surge meetings.
I supervised program development, monitored progress, and ensured timely reporting. I also facilitated fundraising coordination and donor liaison, ensuring the uninterrupted supply of nutrition stock and medicines. My responsibilities included training staff on IYCF and CMAM, conducting field visits for quality assurance, and managing field operations. Facilitated different donor visits and international deleigations.

This position was based in Tharparkar,  during serving the FRDP I led the implementation of WASH projects, providing safe drinking water to drought-affected communities in District Tharparkar using solar energy solutions through collaborations with Penny Appeal and Minhaj Welfare Foundation and other phlianthropy organization. This role included successful stories of kitchen gardening and strengthened local economies. I managed procurement, contractor hiring, media and communications, and coordination at district and province levels, including meetings and events with donors and government departments.




In my capacity, I managed the Project Team, Program Administration, and Program Coordination. I conducted Threat Risk Assessments, developed Security Plans, and oversaw Program Management. My responsibilities also included formulating Field Office, Program Development, and Fundraising. I ensured effective Monitoring and Evaluation, Linkage Development, and Liaising with donors & networking with humanitarian actors were key aspects of my role.

This posisition was based in Chachro, Tharparkar. During the project, I successfully managed two themes: Infant and Young Feeding Counseling and Community-Based Management of Acute Malnutrition. I oversaw three Nutrition Stabilization Centers (NSC-THQ Chachro, NSC-THQ Nagarparkar, and NSC-DHQ Mithi) and supervised and trained a large team, including 3 Medical Officers, 10 Staff Nurses, 11 Nutrition Assistants/Team Leaders, 11 IYCF Counselors, 11 Community Mobilizers, 206 Marvi Workers, and 218 Lady Health Workers. I also mobilized over 200 families and 6 villages that initially refused any ready to use food, including polio vaccination. My project team management, program administration, and coordination skills were key to our success.

Care and Relief Foundation is United Kigdom Based Charity Organization and this position was located at district Tharparkar. During my time as Manager Emergency Response, I spearheaded various initiatives to address Education, Mosques Construction and Rehyblitation, health, nutrition, and WASH needs in drought and flood-affected areas across Sindh and Punjab. Managing a team of 64 experts and field staff, I oversaw the planning, implementation, and monitoring of 7 projects in 5 districts.
Utilizing my skills in project management and coordination, I raised funds through TV shows, charity events, and proposal writing, securing resources for essential interventions like digging 35 wells, installing 130 handpumps, and establishing 50 medical camps.
I prioritized community welfare by establishing two hospitals, Dr. Musarrat Awan Mother and Childcare in Tharparkar and Paras Maternity Home and Childcare in Umerkot, significantly improving access to healthcare services.
As an active member of the Drought Response Committee, I collaborated closely with government agencies and other stakeholders during rescue operations and emergency response efforts.
Started as a field officer, I climbed the ranks to Emergency Response Manager/District Manager Tharparkar, showcasing my aptitude in program administration, team management, and legal affairs. I ensured adherence to SOPs, fostering a professional and humanitarian work environment.
My success in raising funds and executing impactful projects underscores my commitment to serving vulnerable communities during times of crisis. Through effective coordination and tireless dedication, I made tangible improvements in the lives of those affected by natural disasters.
