Establishes effective knowledge management mechanisms including documentation of baselines, outcomes/impacts; and developing data collection tools.


Working closely with Senior management, provide backstopping and guidance in the performance of the Organizational Strategic Plan;


Regularly maintain an online dashboard-based monitoring of programme progress as a snapshot of the ongoing work for programme team to take quick actions wherever required


Monitoring project activities, outputs and progress towards anticipated results for all the Partners (PPAF, FAO, and ITC).


Working with data platforms, databases and select technologies to capture and organize data.


Carry out technical, operational, process and outcome monitoring of the program interventions executed by organization and Pakistani partner organizations (PPAF, FAO, and ITC), in line with the programme M&E framework.


Review and validate the progress data reported in programme MIS through actual field visits.


Support in timely identified risk areas and works with partners to improve performance. Provides regular monitoring reports to the Project Director and Senior Team in Pakistan and Geneva.

The Base MEAL Officer supervises the entire project MEAL officer in different districts of Sindh.


Conduct need assessments, baseline, and end-line and post distribution, monitoring surveys, Emergency / Rapid need assessment, damage assessment, in terms of data collection tools, sample size, training of the data collection team.


Monitoring of selected villages under SIF and WFP Cash for Work Project as part of validation exercise to make sure those is as per listed criteria and validation of the ongoing activities and registered participants as per provided sample under SIF and WFP Cash for Work Project.


Ensure data quality and data consistency during data collection and data entry, manage database and facilitate the data analysis. Conduct data audit of up to 5% sample of the field data collection as well as data entered into the database by the project.


Develop the reports of surveys (baseline & end-line and need and damage assessments) 


Provide technical inputs in the program development process and facilitate the log frame formation (e.g. Indicators, MOVs and risk & assumption matrix development)


Develop M&E Plan for every new project in PMP tool with coordination of the program team and follow the M&E Plan during project implementation.


Carry out regular and routine field monitoring visits of program activities, conduct debrief sessions and produce monitoring visit reports along with an agreed action plan.


Review and update PMP of each project during a monthly review meeting and share with the Country MEAL Manager along with complete MOVs.


Ensure accountability at the field level during program implementation by orienting program team and beneficiaries during activities on SIF CRM/CBCM.


Share updated CBCM/CRM database routinely with the MEAL Manager at country office on monthly bases.


Supports in organizing monthly/midyear/annual review meetings and lessons learnt workshops and Take minutes of all meeting and lessons learnt workshop.


Identify and document time to time the key learning points during project implementation in the field and share during weekly and monthly reporting submissions.


Supports the capacity building of the project and MEAL staff at field level in terms of data collection, monitoring and evaluation as well as implementation of SIF safeguarding policy.


Build the capacity of the project staff, MEAL staff, the field level stakeholders such as VDCs, Committees, Cooperatives, and Government Line Department in terms of monitoring of SIF project implementation and SIF CRM/CBCM.


Ensure smooth coordination with key working groups in the field level and other stakeholders such as VDCs, Committees, Cooperatives, and Government Line Department.


Ensure very good upward, parallel and downward inter and intra department coordination with his/his line manager and sub-ordinates and with other team members and act as pro-active team member.


Meet the reporting deadlines for weekly and monthly basis and share MEAL reports timely with line and technical supervisors.

Visit field areas to ensure quality and compliance with MEAL system
Run and maintain a CRM mechanism and database
Receive and collate comments and feedback from cooperating partners, beneficiaries, and to support identifying programmatic issues with a view to fostering efficient operations and report the critical field related issues and complaints in the CRM Database and provide feedback for timely closure.
Ensure necessary coordination with the line departments at district level as per provided guidelines and liaise with the respective stakeholders
Collect case studies, success stories and share it with internal and external audiences.
Assess progress toward achieving objectives, ensure program compliance and effective implementation according to work plans, M&E plans, and proposals; providing recommendations for improvement.
Plan & coordinate project reviews, evaluations to be conducted internally/externally as required by the project M&E plan.
Ensure regular submission of program performance reports based on their Performance management regulations and LFA.
Conduct quality control tests on all incoming data and supervise data entry and data cleaning/editing processes
