Major Tasks & Responsibilities:· Operational support for various projects to Company Directors, and General Managers.· Search, identify and report new business opportunities (tenders and projects) from local newspapers & tender alerts pertaining to Engineering Consultancy Services (Power, Energy, Environment, Water & Infrastructure, Agriculture, Trade Related Technical Assistance, Institutional Capacity Building, GIS Mapping, and Information Technology).· Lead team of researchers who shortlist projects advertised on various national and international websites/web portals (Devex, WBG eConsultant2 - World Bank, CSRN - ADB, EU Commission Development and Corporations - EuropeAid, Grants.Gov, UNDP, UNGM, UNIDO, Germany Trade & Invest (GTAI), The French Development Agency (AFD), Pakistan WAPDA & Local Newspaper Tenders) for exploring the new business/funding opportunities.· Review, and maintain national & international project\'s list and tenders’ archive while sharing prospective projects with concerned departments.· Arrange project / tender documents (EOI, PQD, RFP, RFQ, Bid etc.) as per requirement.· Identify national / international Firms / Partners & Experts for making competitive team/consortium/joint venture.· Responsible for evaluating the tenders/projects (EOI/PQD/RFP documents), list down the core requirements/information and subsequent discussions with relevant department.· Responsible for gathering relevant proposal documents from various consultants, preparing and assembling bids/proposals for prospective projects/consultancy services. Similarly, coordination for proposal/bid preparation including follow-up, and collection of input from JV partners/sub-contractors.· Organized / attended bid initiation & review meeting.· Support various teams for preparation of list of clarifications and qualifications.· Ensure that EOI / Proposals submissions to tenders are fully complied with all necessary details as per client’s requirement.· Pre-sales information session related to solar consultancy with potential industrial clients.· Ensure timely registration / renewal of registration of the company (AEDB, PSEB, Punjab Charity Commission, Registrar Joint Stock Companies & etc.).
Core Competencies while working at PITCO / IHT:· Have good knowledge of tendering as is how to initiate, execute and close the tenders and management of pre and post tender activities.· Read, review and highlight the important points for discussion from contracts (for making Joint Venture/Consortium/Sub-Consultant) with national / international firms.· Attending pre-bid meetings, technical & financial opening with respective team.· Trainings of Data Supervisors, Data Entry Operators & Enumerators/Surveyors on proper data collection, processing & reporting for projects as per defined SOPs.· Desk review of reports in accordance with the scope of work and identifying shortcomings to generate work schedule for relevant team.· Supervision of field teams for data collection (enumeration) in various cities for different Projects.· Supervision and management of data processing & verification w.r.t quality control, data analysis and preparation of reports under various projects.· Record keeping of project references, completion certificates, prospective teams / candidates, and provision of such data to relevant teams as and when required.· Coordination with multiple teams working on same/various projects for providing assistance to Reporting Engineers and DEO’s.
