To assist the Project Manager to Lead and guide ACTED’s DRR Project in Baluchistan. Ensure that planned activities are successfully implemented. In collaboration with the project team and coordination, determine the strategic direction of the Project in the short, medium and long-term and map out activities in consultation with DDMA and relevant authorities in Baluchistan. To assist the Project Manager in Collaborating effectively with other project managers and the coordination team. Ensure that they are wholly involved in Project planning and direction. Collaborate with the Appraisal, Monitoring and Evaluation Unit (AMEU) to assess need, monitor activities, and evaluate Project progress. Ensure that lessons learned in the course of implementation are integrated into the DRR Project to ensure that it remains responsive and relevant. Coordinate closely with AMEU on data and information collected from the field Attend external coordination meetings upon request from the Project Manager/ Area Coordinator; Liaise with program staff of other ACTED offices to ensure proper information sharing .
As a Project Assistant ALP in Mercy Corps Quetta, I was responsible for providing support to the Project Officer in the procurement of uniforms, shoes, stationary, bags, and books for 650 Accelerated Learning Pathway (ALP) students in 15 Pakistani schools. My responsibilities included assisting the Noor Bano - page 1 Project Officer in conducting 5-day refresher training for 30 Pakistani school teachers, monitoring the 15 project schools regularly and providing feedback to the Project Officer, and conducting monitoring visits to assess teachers and students\' performance in the classroom. Additionally, I was tasked with taking data on enrollment, drop-outs, attendance, and results, and sharing this information with the DM&RO regularly. I was also responsible for maintaining and validating students\' and teachers\' attendance records on a monthly basis, as well as assisting the Project Officer in preparing work plans for the schools\' activities and procurement plans for the distribution of items to ALP students. Finally, I assisted the Project Officer in conducting final-term exams at the end of each term.
To Organize & Facilitate Training Sessions in different Communities
As Youth Development officer my main responsibilities are;
- To organize and manage all project activities.
- To facilitate youth in all district level activities.
- To coordinate with youth, educational institutes, communities, CBOs and Goovernment organizations.
- Designe, conduct and facilitate different trainings for youth.
As program officer my responsibilities were:
- Supervise and facilitate the all district level activities in Field & Office.
- Coordinate with communities and Community Based Organizations (CBOs)
- Formation of village and cluster committees.
- Design and Conduct different type of training for communities.
- Develop linkages between community and government.
As District Coordinator my responsibilities were:
To organize, Coordinate and manage project activities in district Quetta.
