Gateway Gulf is a tier 4 Data center located in Bahrain.
Main responsibilities include:
• Comprehend customer requirements for Network topology and design for most effective solution delivery
• Maintaining the operation of the NOC to be within the organization’s SLA’s and KPI’s
• Responsible for network documentation, network design, network solutions and project solutions
• Improving the working environment towards a collaborative team
• Managing the day to day operations of the NOC
• Ensure that the technology used are constantly upgraded to remain relevant
• To ensure Network reachability is most efficient both internally and externally, without compromising security
• Responsible for informing Management, partners and peers about network performance & service availability
• Managing the RIPE Database IP allocation processes
• Disaster recovery design/scenarios, risk management and SPOF mitigation
• Vendor management, communication and negotiations
• Coordinate the duty shift table for the NOC operations and carefully allocates staff members (NOC technicians and NOC engineers) on different shift duties for ensuring the whole NOC shift works in an efficient and effective manner

Main responsibilities include:
• Network administration/management, software configuration, software upgrade, operation and maintenance of Data Center Network
• Incident reports and final reports for network fault/outage, asset management
• Managing the RIPE Database IP allocation processes
• Inbound and outbound traffic flow balancing/distribution
• Maintenance of connectivity with ISPs via BGP
• Review, assess and action on customer requests and incident tickets created by the Level 1 NOC
• Monitor networks status and troubleshoot issues related to the network and security infrastructure, hardware and applications
• Assist Level 2 and Operations Engineers in collating, processing and presenting records and data
• Configuring & maintaining Networking monitoring systems (CACTI-NAGIOS-SYSLOG-PRTG-SNORT)
• Installation, configuration, and operation for VMware esxi 5, 5.5, 6.0
• Installation, configuration, and operation for virtual clients(vm) windows, linux(Centos,Ubuntu,Debian)
• Software upgrade for different network elements (Cisco, Juniper, Extreme, Brocade) and maintaining the life cycle for each NE.
• Maintaining Domain Controller, Mail Server, DNS, Radius, NTP, and other operational servers to keep organization workflow smooth and always available.
• Engaging and coordinating with support teams, partners, vendors, end-user and/or third parties to resolve routine customer, systems and network infrastructure problems (Fault analysis)
• Administer and monitor system availability, performance and security tools
• NOC shift management

IP/MPLS PROJECTS(CISCO BACK-BONE)
• Routine software upgrades for IOS-XR and IOS on all platforms
• Commissioning, Configuration, Integration, Operation and maintenance of CISCO IP/MPLS network based on CRS1-4slot, GSR 12000 series, Multilayer 7600 series and 7200 series
• Implementation, integration and Convergence of customers to MPLS backbone via MPLS-VPN i.e. R4(MSS/MGW), Data Communication Network (DCN), Sigtran, NgHLR, GBoIP, EDN
• Implementation of Traffic Engineering tunnels (TE-Tunnels) and FRR over Core (Provider) / Provider Edge routers. Along with configuration of service policies for active and backup multi-vendor lease media (SDH)
• SDH and Router delay testing and convergence parameters
• Implementation and configuration Out Of Band (OOB) Management along with the development of SOP
• Identifying and correction of SPoF nodes and creating/implementing backup plan in case of partial/complete loss.
• Addition and configuration of SLA probes for monitoring of Customer availability, latency, jitter, bandwidth utilization, etc
• Integration, configuration, Operation and maintenance for Enterprise Data Network for new sites (20 sites)

OSS/NMS PROJECTS
• Seamless geographic relocation and migration of IP/MPLS NMS (NFM, NPM, ACS)
• Integration, software up-grade, device license up-gradation of IP network fault manager (NFM) SPECTRUM (CA)
• Integration, polar license up-grade of network performance manager (NPM) EHEALTH (CA) along with creation of SLA probes for monitoring of MPLS customer availability, jitter, bandwidth utilization and other MOS parameters.
