• To implement Quality Health Safety and Environment Management System.
• Prepare reports and recommend actions to prevent recurrence.
• To conduct pre-tour meeting in morning and evening.
• Training and implementation of permit-to-work.
• Inspection of Derrick, Crane, Fork lifter, Slings & Rigging, Safety Harness, Minicamp Inspection, Camp & Food Hygiene, Fire Extinguishers, Welding Workshop, Eye Wash shower, Electrical Equipment’s, SCBA’s & Grounding detection.
• Routine safety inspection of Diesel Engines used at Rig for Power Generation/Mud Engines/Carrier Engines/ Heavy Duty Equipment Engines.
• Implements HSE policies and procedures in compliance with applicable rules and regulations.
• Carry out Job Safety Analysis before doing the job.
• To conduct safety meetings and pre-job safety meetings.
• Keeps the management updated on HSE work plan & operations; inspects for hidden hazards, lifesaving equipment & safety equipment.
• Reporting all accidents, incidents and near misses to Rig Manager/Company Man/Head Office.
• Constant checking of rig and equipment’s to make sure it is in good running condition.
• To prepare weekly, monthly, and yearly safety reports.
• To conduct fire, H2S, Med-evac and BOP/Kick drills.
• To investigate the incidents and accident and prepare reports.
• Working with crew to find the best possible method to reduce fatigue factor and making safe methods of doing jobs.
• To prepare the layouts of camp and rig site.
• Co-ordination with camp boss to improve the services.
• To coordinate with crew to resolve their issues.
• Arrangement of police squad for rig moves and expatriate movements.
• Arrangement and documentation of rig move plans.
• Coordinate for third party audits for tubing’s, slings, shackles, Hooks, Lifting belts, fall arresters, Safety Harness and other lifting equipment’s.

• Conducted Safety induction program for new workers.
• Inspected fire extinguishers, Smoke detectors & Fork lifters.
• Daily inspect & monitor of all working departments and check the Un-safe acts.
• Ensured permit to work (PTW) for cutting, grinding, welding, maintenance and electrical working activities before starting work.

• Ensured safety during Lifting operations and Manual handling.
• Ensured that tanks and equipment containing hazardous materials are properly labeled.
