·         Lead digital transformation initiatives across the bank.
·         Facilitate business in change management, streamline banking operations automation, accelerate digitization process, maximize value addition to business through seamless business transition during digital projects, while staying within the limits of bank’s policies/procedures/SOPs, SBP regulations and internal compliance.
·         Review & development of banking policies and procedures and ensure their alignment with business and digital objectives of bank.
·         Coordinate with team to find appropriate solutions for banking operation automation, conduct automation need assessment and recommend/implement automation and digital alternatives.
·         Engage with HODs of concerned departments to share proposed automation solutions, gain feedback and insights regarding business impact of the same.
·         Plan and allocate resources for automation projects, define project scope, set project objectives, lock deliverables and timelines of projects.
·         Oversee pilot testing of automation projects, recommend ways to overcome challenges and finalize modifications in system development/functionality (if required).
·         Ensure automation projects are delivered as per stipulated timelines and agreed quality standards.
·         Ensure Business Continuity Plans are in place and tested.
·         Evaluate change requests, analyze requirements for new functionality in core banking system and guide team on preparation of documents related to system implementation.
·         Outline and supervise plan for system implementation and brief team on execution of the same.
·         Engage with key stakeholders/HODs to address relevant concerns and seeks support required in system implementation.
·         Obtain progress report, discuss status of issues reported and seek update resolution time from team.

Drive the vision, strategy, product roadmap for HBL’s TEB Platform i.e. payments, receivables, branchless banking, SCF products in partnership with stakeholders.
Work with Internal Compliance, Legal, Marketing, Operations, Branchless Banking, ADC, Relationship Teams & Audit teams to outline strategy of HBL with respect to digital channels and Financial Inclusion.

·         Visit strategic clients to understand their working capital flows and structure HBLs TEB product as per client requirements.
·         Keep abreast of current and future trends in digital payments and cash management to enhance our product capabilities and support HBL’s competitiveness.
·         Present product vision and strategy to senior management and other key stakeholders.
·         Drive the commercialization strategy for TEB products by defining value proposition, competitive positioning, developing segment / industry strategies in partnership with Sales
·         Manage the growth and profitability of TEB products.
·         Ensure product risk, compliance and audit standards are maintained at all times.

• Responsible to setup the framework/strategy for digital channels for corporate entities i.e. JS Connect, mobile channels, ADC and branchless channels, new System Rollouts/ Enhancements, products related to payments, receivables, trade, supply chain management, employee banking etc.
• Develop functional architecture design and contribute to product vision.
• Own the product development plan, ensure delivery to the plan and identify risks.
• Contribute to user interface and user experience design in collaboration with other stakeholders.
• Manage product development in collaboration with the solution architect and technology development team (internal & external vendor).
• Evaluate and advise on new technologies, vendors and product.
• Develop high degree of trust with key internal and external client base.
• Responsible for all aspects of product management life cycle.
• Improve product positioning, create marketing collateral and promotional materials in accordance with strategies.
• Develop, implement and maintain product/product portfolio strategies and tactics to ensure products continue to offer strong value propositions to customers (based on in-depth understanding of client needs and processes) while focusing on achieving revenue targets.
• To ensure all the necessary documentations such as Product papers, SOPs, Process flows, SLAs operating manuals are in place.
• To manage expenses in accordance to budget.
• Accountable for revenue and profitability of products including annual forecasting for revenue and product profitability and KPI target setting.
• Conduct training and communication sessions with internal stakeholders and external clients.

• Responsible for Payments and Collections product development, design, strategy and implementation for SME and Financial Institutions(FI) Segment.
• Responsible for providing Cash Management solutions to companies through various banking channels i.e. net banking, branchless banking (UBL Omni), debit and credit cards, prepaid debit cards, PoS machines etc.
