 Perform environmental baseline monitoring and investigation studies for industrial units as well as for developmental projects and preparation of environmental monitoring reports.
 Design projects leading to environmental protection, such as water reclamation and treatment facilities, air pollution control systems, and operations that convert waste to energy.
 Analyze scientific data and do environmental quality-control checks and monitor progress of industrial facilities as well as developmental projects.
