National College of Sciences University system Peshawar initiated the process of launching 5 year doctor of optometry (OD). I joined organization as assistant professor and head of the of the eye department in August this year.

Teaching and training Master of Public Health (MPH) students at the KMU Peshawar

• Managed implementation of maternal newborn & child health program in KP & FATA. In this program short, medium and long term activities for mothers, newborns and child health improvement were successfully executed/ implemented.
Launched 18 month training for 190 CMW from FATA & KP
• Operationalized 3 more MHU in Malakand, Dir Lower & Shangla along with five already functional in FATA
• MHU system thus established conducted 2130 field visits and 149235 individuals availed health care services
• Rehabilitated more than 80 health facilities in FATA and KP for improved MNCH services
• Managed 1823 maternal & Child Health Days and provided health care services to 160227 individuals
• Enhanced capacity of health care providers for improved MNCH services through 341 training sessions reaching 7275 health worker (Male 1703 & 5572 female)
• Managed negotiation with government, stakeholders and placed 12 eligible persons in two year MPH course at KMU from across program impact area
• Improved medicine storing capacity of 12 health department medicine stores one each at district / agency headquarters and provincial level

 Joined as Manager training and lead the capacity building component of the project and managed to plan, implement & monitor more than 400 training sessions for all cadres of health professionals. Enhanced capacity of more than 6000 health care providers on maternal, newborn & child health
 Successful implementation of HHRD component of the project lead to enhanced role to DPM / DCoP for leading the overall program implementation for the rest of the project life.
 Twice assigned acting role of Program Manager leading to launching of 13 state of the art health facilities construction in FATA.
 Established 7 agency based units of the project and lead them to implement the project smoothly and with highest standards of professional & ethical competence & integrity
 Ensured provision of quality outreach health care services through Child & Maternal Health Days (CMHD) to hard to reach communities of FATA to the satisfaction of the community & Government.
 Operationalized 5 Mobile Health Units 2 in Mohmand, 2 in Bajour and 1 in SWA and reached the un-reached people in the target area
 Managing financial, physical and human resource of all these field units to the satisfaction of Organization at one end and government & community of the target area at other end.
 Provided and assisted the PKCo by timely provision of reports, information, comments & advice when needed

 Coordination & liaison with Directorate & Secretariat of Health, Multi lateral / bi lateral organizations, donors & International Technical Agencies.
 Development of policy framework to guide the health human resource development in the province and at divisions & districts.
 Evaluated the 1st Public / private partnership (PPP) initiative of Nahqi Satellite hospital.
 Designed, developed, implemented and evaluated courses on technical health and management subjects.
 The most significant was pioneering development and implementation of 1st ever MPH course in KPK province
 Monitoring, supervision & evaluation of the working of 26 allied institutions including public health schools, paramedic institutes, Nursing schools & College all over the province.

 Developed professional and productive partnership with government at every level
 Achieved the project set targets and met all the agreed timelines
 Worked in close coordination / consultation of all the relevant stakeholders including department of health and contributed towards prevention and treatment of HIV/AIDS in the province
 Implemented the project successfully and executed project activities in the province of KP as per approved work plan.
 Developed strong coordination among the NGOs / CBOs working in area of HIV/AIDS working under the umbrella of NWFP AIDS consortium.
 Project activities identified / agreed and implemented in collaboration with Government AIDS Control Program, UNAIDS, UNICEF, DFID and other bilateral and multilateral agencies/donors.
 Ensured round the clock support from Government and other stakeholders through timely advocacy.
 Established Treatment center for HIV/AIDS patients in HMC Peshawar and KDA hospital Kohat.
