Responsibilities:
Passports application (Current role):
• Conducting an interview with applicants at the initial stage of the application ensuring they don’t already own a passport/previous passport is not blacklisted or on ECL (Exit Control List). These checks are carried out on FIA portal (The Federal Investigation Agency)
• Accepting the relevant fees in accordance with applicants desired service
• Take applicant’s photo, biometric and match their details against records held by NADRA
• Staying vigilant during the application process to ensure fraud/deception is not taking place
• Dealing with Head Office located in Islamabad for certain applications
• Providing customer service in a professional manner.
Achievements and developments:
• Obtained professional certification in Microsoft Office which allowed me to get comfortable with completing my tasks at work
• Having worked in NADRA for the past number of years where I have had to deal with number of applicants on daily basis has enabled me to work effectively under pressure and it has significantly improved my interpersonal skills
• Being involved in server backup and other IT tasks had given me a better understanding of computer systems

Responsibilities:
Payroll:
• Running monthly and weekly payroll for just over 100 clients with a turnover ranging between £0.1m to £3 million.
• Getting figures from clients and sending them monthly/weekly summaries from Payroll Manager Moneysoft 100 (Payroll software) for approval, once approval received sending them payslips and submitting RTI (Real time information) to HMRC (Tax authority).
• Sending P30 (Tax liability summary) to clients with payment instructions.
• Saving all documents in the folders and updating Tax Calc (Task management software).
Bookkeeping:
• Obtaining bank statements from clients and preparing bank analysis on excel spreadsheet for VAT/Annual Accounts preparation.
• Noting down any missing transactions/queries to discuss with client.
• Sending bank analysis to Manager after completion and making them aware of any uncategorized transactions.
