Ensure sub-contractors perform activities in line with client requirements
Hazards Identification and Risk Assessment.
Accident/Incident Investigation.
Weekly Inspection of Whole Site.
PTW coordination with client.
Conducting of JSA before high risk activities.
Monitoring of high risk activities such as Crane Operation, Excavation, Working at Height, Confined Space & Hot job etc.
Review plans and specifications for new machinery and equipment to make sure they meet safety requirements.

Development and Execution of Emergency Response Training Program.

Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for compliance of HSE systems and procedures.
Responsible for steady state of operation of DRI and gas processing units and related equipments in the most safe and efficient manner to meet required throughput, maximum yield and required quality specifications.
Observing all operational parameters through DCS.
Responsible for scheming the composition of reductants (CO & H2) in reducing gas, composition of oxidants (CO2 & H2O) and CH4 in feed gas of Reformer and other all parameters related to Reduction, Carburization, Reforming & combustion reactions, and to avoid those parameters which are the cause of catalyst degradation.
Coordinating with Maintenance personnel to ensure maintenance activities are conducted with the least disruption to production.
Ensuring minimum disruption to stable operation by detecting plant and equipment problems and implementing counter measures after trouble shooting.
Supervising the all field activities (i.e. issuance of work permits) during operation and shutdown.
Responsible for the planning and safe execution of plant shutdown and startup.
Carried out visual physical inspections of equipment on a daily basis to ensure that they are functioning safely and efficiently.

Recommending and implementing safe workplace policies and procedures
Conducting safety audits of operations department
Conducting safety inspection of Plant to highlight unsafe acts and conditions
Participating in Investigating incident / accidents, Risk Assessment activities.
Conducting Training programs of all Operation staff on HSE systems
Ensuring that field activities are being done under permit to work system.
Carrying out mock exercises relating to process leakages and fires to test the emergency response of the squad available on site.
Conducting process safety orientation of new hired in Operations.
Performing Pre-Startup Safety Review’s & Job Safety Analysis for Critical Activities.
Ensuring that firefighting, rescue, first aid and other related equipment required in an emergency is maintained fully operational at all times.
