·         Provision of necessities of life for targeted communities in regard of designed objectives make liaison with line departments for the smooth functioning of project activities.
·         Provision of teaching facilities for the children of earthquake area by the organization and also provision of books, note books and gifts to learners.

Ø  Facilitating communities especially young women and men to attend the project activities and try the possible avenues for enhancing their skills and self-employment
Ø  Conduct awareness raising activities including sessions on GBV, Protection and self-awareness
Ø  Act in respectful and culturally acceptable manner while dealing with communities to gain their trust
Ø  Facilitating trainings in the communities as well as at district level with different stakeholders
Ø  Identification of all relevant stakeholders, project supporters and government officials at UC level and build working relationship
Ø  Assist Project Coordination reporting and information gathering
Ø  Facilitate survivors to avail services in a respectful manner and adhering to all ethical standards
Ø  Rapport building with key stakeholders at community level who can help in promoting project objectives
Ø  To develop relation with multiple stakeholder at different levels for achieving project objectives

The scope of work was Community Mobilization for Water and Sanitation Hygiene to achieve and sustain Open Defecation Free environment Safe drinking water and facilitate the trainings of community resource persons and school children WASH Club supervisors and school teachers.
As Social Organizer, I worked under close supervision of the Project Management and be responsible to perform the following functions/duties/assignments:
 
Ø  Under the supervision of the WASH Manager, implement all construction, maintenance and repair activities as defined by requirements.  
Ø  Supervise the WASH Engineer and other staff throughout the planning and implementation of the project activities.  
Ø  Support, facilitate or undertake communication and liaison activities to actively consult and involve beneficiaries, key informants, actors, partners and stakeholders in all stages of project design and implementation. 
Ø  Work closely with WASH Project Manager in order to implement projects according to relevant local, national and international technical standards. 
Ø  Ensure daily monitoring of the quality of project activities and the progress of project/works implementation. 
Ø  Provide regular updates on progress to supervisors and other team members, including other departments and sectors as appropriate. 
Ø  Prepare daily, weekly and monthly reports for the WASH Project Manager to document office and site activities, including communications with external actors, action points, decisions / changes made, and progress, including post-impact monitoring.  
Ø  Ensure regular and timely reporting of problems, potential delays or risks to project implementation to the relevant supervisor, and support in the development and execution of solutions and mitigating actions. Prepare Order Request forms, Purchase Orders, Payment Requests and other standard documents to enable timely delivery of materials, works and services.   
Ø  Where relevant, liaise with donors and partners on project updates, site visits and other communication.  
Ø  Introduce the Project and Punjab Rural Support Programme in targeted communities.
Ø  Build strong relationships with all stakeholders at field level and engage them in them in the smooth implementation of project activities.
Ø  Formations of Village WASH Committees, Children and Youth Groups and Women Support Group at Community Level and WASH Clubs at School Level.
Ø  Implementation of the Project in its appropriate form and true spirit in the Project villages/UCs assigned.
Ø  Identification of honest competent, effective and most suitable Community Resource Persons (CRPs) for effective implementation of the Project in assigned villages/UCs.
Ø  Ensure the participation of CRPs in Training Sessions.
Ø  Engagement of  Lady Health worker ,Lady health supervisor and Sanitary inspector in the field area for health and hygiene sessions and other WASH activities.
Ø  To make Involvement of School Health Nutrition Supervisor in Government. And Non Government Schools.
Ø  Preparation Field work Plans and ensure its effective implementation.
Ø  Ensure that each CRP in assigned communities is maintaining the record of his/her activities on the prescribed formats.
Ø  Consolidation of the CRPs record at FU/SMT level.
Ø  Sharing ideas and experiences with management and field staff as to inculcate the spirit of debate and discussion within PRSP about the Project
Ø  Undertaking monitoring & reporting in your area of responsibility
Ø  To ensure the coverage of hundred percent households of assigned villages /UCs for Water and Sanitation Hygiene messages ultimately resulting in creating the open defecation free environment in their assigned  villages and to sustain it.
Ø  Conduct strong Mobilization in assigned villages to motivate the people to construct the latrine at household level at self-help basis.
Ø  Conduction of Demand Creation activities for open defecation free environment through CLTS/WINS approach.
Ø  Undertaking PRA Tools and get triggering activities for ODF demand creation in communities and preparing community action plans and ensure its implementation at VWC level.
Ø  Formation of Village WASH Committees in all the assigned communities and build their capacity to support all the activities in their villages.
Ø  Ensure proper functioning of Village WASH Committee and maintain proper record of their meetings and activities.
Ø  Sustaining demand creation in your assigned area through identification of masons, their training for construction  of low cost technically feasible latrines, and taking measures for development of local sanitary mart, as per guidelines of the project document.
Ø  Maintaining close contact with the officials of PHED, Education, Health and TMA/UC departments in your assigned area and keeping them on board about the activities of WASH Project.
Ø   Ensure the engagement of Union Council Secretaries in Creating, declaration, verification and Certification of Open Defecation free environment in their UCs.
Ø  Submission of field Observation/feedback to your supervisor.
Ø  Recordkeeping, Documentation and reporting at Office Level.
Ø  Any other task assigned by the Project Manager PRSP WASH Project & RGM

Ø  To begin baseline research of selected communities, and continue to monitor social change and new social information To relevant to community empowerment

Ø  To motivate and encourage the Religious leader, potential leaders to talk to their fellow community members about unity and self relianceØ  To raise awareness that community members themselves can move each community out of poverty, and to show them ways they can do this for themselvesØ  To assist community members to identify needs and to generate solutions, identifying priority issues and to analyse their problemsØ  To provide community leaders with management skills and knowledge in getting community members interested, organized and motivatedØ  To develop trust, tolerance and co-operation among community membersØ  To encourage and stimulate full participation by all community members; with special attention to those who are usually forgotten, marginalized and overlooked in community decision makingØ  To assist the community in obtaining information and knowledge that may be available through governmental and Non governmental agencies, through extension and outreach programs To assist the community members in developing their own capacity and strength to the point where they no longer need the services of you the mobilizer
