Duties and Responsibilities:
• Played a key role in establishment of the HR Department and aligning the HR Function with the organization strategy.
• Successfully prepared and implemented HR Policy Manual covering working procedures and guidelines, employment terms and conditions, reward plan and group policies.
• Worked closely with management to determine staffing requirements, manage the entire recruitment and selection process for five business units including two new businesses.
• Introduced HR on ERP for employee record, attendance, self-service, payroll, training and development and performance appraisal.

• Check Candidates financial background verification using Electronic Credit Information Bureau (ECIB), Global Sanctions through Norkom and all background verification through Hire Right.
• Coordinate with external vendor for completion of pre-employment checks, ensuring candidates provide the required information in a timely manner, regularly monitoring the third-party completion of all pre-employment checks in line with policy.
• Processes employment applications, entering applicant information in applicant tracking system (PeopleSoft) and background check systems, as required.
• Records candidates details in PeopleSoft for ID generation, resolving any problems with Bank ID creations/ issues.
• Complete the Talent Acquisition Activities related to Right Start pre-employment minimum standards (e.g. issuing contracts and Induction pack, ensuring timely ID creation and issuing standard notifications to the hiring manager, HR RMs / Business HR where appropriate, confirming start dates and their right Start responsibilities).
• Ensure a smooth onboarding of the newly inducted employees.

To conduct exit interviews and identify reasons for employee resignation or termination.
• Responsible for verification from the last employer of new inductees and to send letters of Reference Check to the last employer.
• Responsible for issuance of letters pertaining to appointment and confirmation of employees and other letters.
• Responsible for documentation, maintaining records and compiling reports concerning personnel-related data such as joining, resignation and transfer of employees.
• To prepare job ads and responsible for their placement on job portals, university notice boards, and other applicable places.
• Responsible for assisting department heads with developmental activities for the company and for the preparation of employees I.D. cards and all relevant effort in this regard.
• To serve as a link between management and employees by handling queries, interpreting company policies and helping to resolve work-related problems.
• Assisted in the recruitment area by preparing welcome packs and managing employee’s joining report with subsequent collection of documents along with their enrollment to Health & Group Life Insurance Policy and audit of personal files.
• Prepared appointment letters and agent agreements as per the specific details provided; assisted in their joining by completing the reference check and maintaining their files to ensure proper documentation.
