Responsibilities:
• Provide technical support to relevant Government agencies to develop capacities related to their roles and responsibilities in the Rural WASH Sector. • Contribute to training and orientation materials development. Document results and lessons learned from WASH program implementation to promote knowledge sharing with counterparts and WASH partners. • Lead in the development and implementation of processes, methodologies, and tools to ensure quality implementation of WASH interventions. • Lead the delivery of WASH services for clients to meet the IRC standards and / or the national WASH standards, depending on the context. • Provide guidance and support to clients on all water, sanitation, hygiene promotion related issues, to ensure quality, cost-effectiveness, sustainability, and impact soundness in their implementation. • Ensure that the WASH Monitoring System data collection and reporting is carried out systematically, properly, and timely with quality information. • Report regularly on WASH activity implementation by all WASH sector partners, while maintaining accurate records of all relevant WASH performance indicators. • Prepare regular success stories and monthly reports.

 Implement community mobilization activities in field.
  Ensure community participation at different Implement, and monitor community based activities and timely identification of gaps.
 Plan and conduct sensitization events in targeted communities.
 Formation & training of different informal groups/committees/Jirga at community and schools level.
Identification and training of transformation facilitators (TFs)
 Social assessment of different WASH infrastructure planned in the project.
 Facilitate community led M&E during the development of WASH infrastructure.
 Conduct/Implement PLA Modules.
  Conduct Focus group discussion with specific age group.
 Keep close coordination with all departments for better integration within organization and with stakeholders when required.
Facilitate the TFs in conducting the activities in targeted areas.
 Motivate TFs and oversee performance, build staff capacity where required. 
 Hold progress review meetings with TFs and provide timely constructive feedback to improve the quality of field activities, analysis gaps and follow-ups.
Prepare weekly and monthly narrative reports of field activities.
Capture success stories and case studies. 
 Developing and maintaining the data bank and photo gallery of the project activities.
 Ensure participation and capacity building of PWDs, Ethnic Groups, religious minorities and others socially excluded groups in project cycle.

Making contact with and organizing local communities in the most appropriate forms of organization.
 
Training of local leader and activist in the basics of organizing communities and introducing a    programme of saving, capital formation and skill development.
 
Studying exciting organization structures in the region and identifying area of immediate concern and high priority around which community groups can be organized.
 
Approach to be identified the community activist and nature them to a level where they themselves take a lead role and mobilize the community.
