Financial management and treasury management:


o. Monitoring and managing project cash flows based on land cost and its development.
o. Arranging fund and non-fund based facilities, co ordination/liaison with financial institutions.
o. Treasury Management of more than Rs. 4 billion fund.
o. Reconciliation and receivable management of more than 10,000 employees.
o. Cost-Benefit analysis of land to be purchase and subsequent development.



Financial reporting



o. Maintaining general ledger.
o. Payroll processing of Project contractual employees.
o. Preparing financial statements in accordance with IFRS.
o. Providing information to and facilitating external auditors and government auditors.
o. Preparing responses to audit observations and defending them in audit committees.
o. Supervising bank accounts, verifying and authorizing payments.

Taxation and Land Matters:


o. Briefing and presentation to BODs and Senior members of NWS regarding project financing, land acquisition and compaction; and other important matters.
o. Co - coordinating and liaison with Tax consultants, Tehsildar, AD Land.
o. Review, verify and forward land purchase file to BOD and Land Acquisition committee for approval.
o. Review of land taxes and duties to be submitted as per applicable rate.
o. Supervising processing of accounts payable after deduction of applicable withholding taxes.
o. Review filing of WHT and Sales tax Returns and to ensure filing with in applicable time frame.
o. Review and authorize filing of Annual Income Tax Return.

o. Responsible for planning, managing and executing multiple audit & assurance and non-assurance engagements in line with ISAs and other pronouncements.

o. Responsible for identification of key audit and business risks, determining appropriate responses, devising appropriate audit plans & strategies.

o. Performing engagement and client acceptance procedures, understanding the business processes, identifying and assessing the relevant controls, performing test of details and analytical procedures.

o. Preparation and review of financial statements and related disclosures in accordance with different financial reporting frameworks.

o. Review of tax calculations and corporate income tax returns

o. Reviewing compliance with corporate governance best practices for listed and public entities.

o. Giving presentations to the audit committees on audit plans, audit conclusions including key audit risks and audit findings.

o. Preparing and submitting proposals, giving presentations on audit approach and methodology to prospective clients.

o. Training various levels of staff using e-Audit, KPMG audit methodology.

o. Representing the audit firm in all meetings with clients.
