Qudsia Mahtab Mehmood has a diversified background as Communication and Social Marketing Technical Expert, Researcher, Trainer, Writer and a successful 11-year track record of working with the Development sector in Pakistan on Child Rights, Early Childhood and Gender Based Violence. She is trained investigator for PSEA Cases.
Completed successfully three years project funded by European Union on Gender mainstreaming in Punjab and Islamabad. Extensive experience on gender based violence at national level and implementing gender related projects.
As a communication expert she has successfully designed and implemented Communication strategy for Sehat Sahulat Program KP with State Life Insurance Corporation in 2015 and this program is now known as Sehat Insaf Program. For the same program designed and implemented community mobilization strategy and trained the social mobilizers of the implementing partners./span/p

She holds a Graduate Diploma (Asia Pacific Leadership Program) from University of Hawaii in Leadership and Regional Issues and a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology from University of Karachi. She has worked extensively in electronic and print journalism and with a number of non-government organizations. Qudsia has tirelessly worked for the rights of women, reproductive health, child rights and marganilsed population in her role as journalist, producing a number of radio programs for the series Meri Awaz Sunno (Hear My Voice), and various TV documentaries that focused on issues affecting the welfare of women. Topics under discussion have included water issues, the impact of earthquakes, floods, dowry, domestic workers, sexual exploitation and domestic violence, rape, menopause, political involvement of women, trafficking and commercial sex workers. She has travelled to rural and urban areas of Pakistan in search of issues and project implementations. She has travelled abroad and represented Pakistan at different International Forums. For her work she has been awarded many memberships and fellowships across the World including International Leadership Association (ILA), International Association of Women in Radio and TV (IAWRT), PANOS Media fellowship on TB and HIVAIDS, East West Center Asia Pacific Leadership Program (APLP) HI, Leadership for mobilizing reproductive health in Pakistan (IIE).She has been authored researches on children and gender issues for various national and international organizations. Currently she is working as Technical Specialist with Pakistan Alliance for Early Childhood.
Worked as Senior Project Officer in European Union funded three years project Collaboration for Change: Transforming Lives and Minds for Equal Citizenship with PDF and NCA. The main responsibility was to write and deliver quarterly and annual reports. To make work plans and execute the activities in a timely manner. Working with community women and men, minority women and men, religious scholars of all faiths, college university students and journalists. Facilitate the community awareness sessions on pro women laws with women girls of all faiths. Liaison with different Government sectors and departments responsible for the implementation of pro women laws.
