• Work collaboratively with other program staff to ensure necessary program planning, development and management activities function smoothly and efficiently
• Assist field staff with development of work plans, reporting and monitoring and evaluation
• Work collaboratively with field staff to ensure that resources for effective and timely program implementation are available
• Participate in monitoring and evaluation of activities for countries and regions assigned as needed
• Work collaboratively with finance staff to prepare and track the progress of project and activity budgets
• Oversee technical assistance needed to execute project work plans, which may include external consultants
• Ensure timely, accurate and appropriate reporting of program activities and results to the donor
• Ensure compliance with Jhpiego and JHU operational policies and regulations
• Identify and promote opportunities for new business and sources of funding
• Contribute to proposal management, design, writing, and editing

• Develops and maintains effective relationships with district head quarter hospital and midwifery school
• Develops supportive relationships with trainee community midwives (CMWs) and prioritizes effective transfer of current best practices to them.
• Ensure clinical practices of trainee midwives and provide hands-on midwifery training to CMW trainee in the clinical sites
• Monitors and coaches CMW trainee and assess their competency levels, identifies areas that need improvement, and make plan and support to get the required competency
• Models respectful, woman-centered maternity care.
• Participates in relevant updates on new technical knowledge and approaches within MCHIP/Pakistan.
• Meets regularly with to midwifery school to report students’ progress
• Work closely with MCHIP district technical team
• Perform any other official task assign by the supervisor

Counsels pregnant and breastfeeding mothers through session, receive a caseload of participant and make routine periodic contact with participant assigned, give basic breast feeding information and support to new mothers, including telling them about the benefits of breast feeding, overcoming common barriers, and getting good start with breast feeding also helps mothers prevent and handle common breast feeding concern.
