As a project coordinator for GIZ, I successfully administered the implementation of a comprehensive Entrepreneurial Training and development program aimed at enabling returnees from the UK, Germany, Middle East and other countries to learn about starting and managing their small businesses. After implementing a thorough selection criterion, local trainees from various rural areas were selected as well. The project involved more than 900 individuals to be equipped with Entrepreneurial understanding and in-kind support to start their businesses. As a project coordinator, I provided management and comprehensive administrative support to the project lead, including data management, coordination among stakeholders, scheduling meetings, maintaining files, organizing travel arrangements, maintaining and reviewing project documentation and reports, implementation of required procedures and policies. Also Assisted and managed logistical arrangements and finances incurred.
Developed a data management process to identify the right candidates for the successful implementation of project objectives and improved project outcome. Engaged and interviewed returnees and locals and managed data across different channels to ensure efficiency. I Designed various ads and posters in both English and Urdu that were disseminated among Personal networks, social media outlets and within the radio broadcasting to reach the target audience.
Compiled and authored a set of 16 comprehensive Reports for GIZ project showcasing proficiency in data analysis and reporting. Compiled, reviewed, and maintained project documentation, reports, and progress updates for internal and external distribution and for tracking progress.
Prior to GIZ, I worked as a Language Instructor and trainer, primarily in an academic arena where I trained local and international candidates administering their performance relative to English proficiency. I designed, administered and implemented a range of engaging and interactive classroom sessions that capture students' interest and encourage active participation. Incorporated Role-plays, Dialogues and Learning games as innovative teaching methods to make learning more interactive and hands-on. Developed Project based Learning PBL tendencies for better learning and productivity among students. Incorporated Technical Writing Skills into the Sessions.
Liaising with students, faculty, school administration and the other relevant education linked audience to provide updates on students' progress and address concerns was also an integral part of my job. Maintaining and updating data files for accuracy and record keeping. Completed administrative tasks as assigned and met the set deadlines. Maintaining accurate records of student attendance, performance, and achievements, ensuring documentation compliance.
