Coordinated hepatitis control & prevention activities of Govt. of Pakistan and Khyber Pakhtunkhwa through 25 Districts sentinel site’s at secondary and tertiary health care facilities and promoted and achieved spread to primary healthcare facilities, and inclusion of civic sector. Generated Rs. 350M additional for province over year 01 and 950M more by year 02 with an assurance for Rs. 500 M yearly on requirement justification. Advised Environment Protection Agency at KP and collaborated with MSF, WHO and Academia on health care waste-management initiatives. Represented Province at Senate Health Sub-Committee review sessions, Federal Planning Commission and Executive Committee of National Economic Council. Re-introduced HepB birth dose vaccinations through MSF and instituted DoH Committee for Provincial implementation. Promoted ADD Syringes and almost achieved breakthrough for universal adoption at public sector.
