I started my career as an Executive Secretary/ Program Assistant in USAID. In 1995, I joined OMV (Pakistan)a multinational Oil and Gas company as an Executive Secretary. Later on in 2006, I was selected in its HR Department as HR Officer and soon was assigned the duties of Recruitment Specialist. I worked in this role for 8 years and then in 2014 had a new role of Training Specialist for two years. In 2014, the company started controlling its cost by limiting its development activities as the oil price was reducing and company was facing losses. In Nov 2015, I lost my job as the company reduced its overall budget, (where training received zero budget) and also laid off its employees to save cost. Through out my career I have been considered as an optimistic, result-oriented and commercially focused professional with extensive experience across a range of demanding roles.

In 2009, I was responsible for the delivery of end to end recruitment service and handled the full cycle of recruitment. Ensured strict compliance with recruitment standards and strategic recruitment process.
Worked closely with Department managers, directors and top level management executives of the company to identify and recruit within agreed and given timeline. Recruited all levels of personnel i.e., experts, specialist, engineers, technicians. Maintained recruitment data and statistics; provide regular updates to the HR Head. Determine need and source for external recruitment i.e., agencies and headhunters and maintain relationships to support recruitment strategy. Review and modify recruitment and selection processes when required to maximize efficiency and align with business objectives. Negotiated with candidates on salaries or rates. Convinced the candidates on the respective offer, benefits and career growth potential with the company/client. Employee data base Management, Prepared Offer Letters, Contract Letters, Confidentiality Agreements. Ensured that all approved vacancies are advertised internally or externally. Assisted the HR Manager and recruitment managers in the various steps of recruitment process including applicant screening, scheduling interviews, interviewing of applicants etc. Ensured selected candidate\'s smooth joining process. Maintained a database of potential candidates for current and future requirements. Formatted resumes based on the company template. Managed Employee Orientation & Induction Programs.

From May 2014 I was responsible for administering the complete Training & Development cycle, including TNA, Training arrangement and execution. Identifying training suppliers, negotiating with training vendors, customizing training programs and initiating documentation process for signing a contract with the training company. Collaborating with trainers, trainees and line managers / supervisors in finalizing the training.
