· Lead, all the communities related activities at the site of the project.
· Collecting data from CBOs (Community Based Organizations) of Torkham area of Khyber Agency at the Community level.
· Preparation of Community Profiles and need assessment.
·Prioritizing need of the community with consent of the community in open community dialogue.
·Carrying out of FDGs (Focus Group Discussions) at the community level, with various groups at the village level.
·Assisting the resettlement expert in land acquisition and resettlement plan preparation.
·Ensure the effected persons to be paid as per initial assessment & commitment from the side of the Government.
·Explains the Affected persons with regard to the role of LARP (Land Acquisition and Resettlement Plans) and address their Grievances.
·To build awareness among Jirga members, and youth groups on the importance of youth inclusion in community decision-making processes for conflict prevention & resolution.
·Take in confidence the jarga members with regard to the overall development and youth involvement in the de positive and constructive activities like sports and education. 
·To facilitate discussions with media representatives/journalist, press clubs on reporting and information sharing.
·Resolving the disputes among the communities over various issues through jarga and elders.
·Capacity Building of the jarga members for resolving disputes among the communities.  
·Ensure to implement Grievance Redressal Mechanism (GRM).
·Support and guide NLC (National Logistics Cell) in implementing their CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) role for the affected communities.
·Guidance and counselling of the affected communities and leading the affected towards peace building.

·Guidance and supervision of the field staff during data collection exercise.

·Meetings and Consultation with the management of SADP for field level activities.
·Data collection for Case studies and preparation of Case studies for TMAP ( Third party monitoring Agent of the World Bank)
·12 Case Studies have been prepared so far.           

Right now I am working with PID ( Partner in Development ) in two different projects. Before this I have worked with PID on two other projects ( DFID, World Bank). Some details of the current project are mentioned below:

We are preparing a Strategic development plan for Mardan city, In which I am working as a Social Sector Specialist in a Project of the P&D department Government of KP. I have conducted a socioeconomic and housing survey. Apart from that I have conducted about 50 FDGs with various stakeholders including local government at the Union Council tehsil and District level, lawyers, chamber of commerce, CSO, government department and various other stake holders. I have compile the data of various components including health education, sanitation, commerce, industry etc and have prepared reports for other consultants to use for SD plan preparation. This project is near to completion.

Apart from this, I am also working on another project of the Word Bank , in which PID is jointly doing work with another organization called AID. In this project our organization role is that of the Third Party Monitoring. We are assessing SADP project which is working in three southern districts of KP. With the help of some questionnaires and FDGs exercises and through our field team visits and observation we collect the data from the field and then prepare a report for World Bank. This a joint work in which each and every sector specialist prepare his part of the report. My role here in this assignment is on the Community Development Component, where I am assessing the community groups it\'s structure and functions, capacity building, market linkages,vocational skills training, Community Action Plan preparation, response to the project infrastructure component and participation in the project interventions. Collect the data from the field and then write a report based on the findings. Word Band then evaluate it and approve the report.

·Coordinate with the M&E wing of Office to respond to Independent Monitoring Unit’s (IMU,) (Third Party Monitoring Reports) reports.
·Coordinate with Internal Auditor for identification and resolution of potential issues in implementation at field offices.
·Conduct investigation visits to determine corrective action & mentor field staff in project monitoring, evaluation & reporting and document all field visits by drafting reports to be shared with the donor
·Develop lesson learned document from the SWOT analysis conducted under several types of interventions to be submitted to Senior Management Team (SMT) of the program.
·Ensure that the field teams generate required documents i.e. community agreements, Project Oversight Committee (POC) instructions
·Review the reports submitted by the Independent Monitoring Units (IMU) reports and point out the issues to the concerned departments for addressing.
·FDGs with the target for assessment and taking their view point on various issues.
·Follow up on action points which are identified through review of the Routine Monitoring Reports (RMRs) and follow-up on action items identified during monitoring and evaluation meetings.
·Identify and develop success stories for the weekly/quarterly narrative report.
·Engage in overall political analysis, impact assessment, and strategy development to advance FSSP. goals.
·Supervise and monitor various types of livelihood projects.
·Provide guidance to M&E Officers at field level for carrying out SWOT analysis of and project interventions and development lessons learned documents.

·Supporting the partner’s staff across the whole KPK to implement their Cash for work, Cash grant and other livelihood development initiative and WASH projects.    
·Working in the flood affected areas of KPK and facilitating coordination among Oxfam GB and partners across the province.
·Support the implementation of partnership policy and assist the team, to do the assessment, and monitoring processes
·Responsible for Building the Capacity building Plan for the partner staff and over all human resource development of the partner organization.
·Solicit information from Oxfam GB programme units in relation to their needs for local partners for programme implementation.  
·In coordination with the Gender team ensure that Oxfam’s ways of working and gender equity and humanitarian principles are mainstreamed throughout partner humanitarian responses. 
·Support the proper implementation of the Oxfam’s partnership Toolkit. To assess capacity needs of the partners and partners appraisals to promote better understanding of partnership agreements that OGB uses. 
·In coordination with the relevant support and technical teams, ensure effective participation of partners throughout the programme cycle management process (project design, /planning, implementation, monitoring and evaluation). Checking on the quality and performance of partnership by conducting field visits and having discussions within the team. Meet twice a month with the partners for planning/ problem resolution/ lesson learning.
·In coordination with the relevant support and technical team, develop the capacity of the partners, through tailored capacity development plans.
·Support the Programme Manager to organise a Project mobilization Workshop (PMW) at the beginning of all projects.
·Support partners in the compiling of timely reports prior to payments.
·Ensure all minor complaints received are addressed in consultation with the Programme Manager.
·Ensure timely reporting of all more serious complaints to the Project manager and communicate to the Country Director for further processing.
·Manage the coordination and information gathering from contacts in government, donor and national NGOs.
·Compile regular activity reports and necessary guide lines and process documents to guide the team and partners.
·Capture lessons learned from working with partners in a Humanitarian response.
·To develop relationship with civil society organizations and work on partnership agreements.

·Regional Manager Sociology is one of the core staff members of Provincial Project Management Unit to provide technical support and assistance to the Regional Project Manager in all aspects of the Project particularly in areas of expertise i.e., from programming to management, coordination, monitoring and evaluation Media and communication activities.
·Compile and analyze all relevant information/data collection relating to various civil societies organizations/NGOs in the province generally but more particularly dealing with issues on natural resources conservation and development.
·Following the agreed policy on social mobilization, provide the require input during implementation of the project.
·Organize workshops/ training sessions as required for various segment of society including media electronic and press.
·Coordinate and liaise with other members in the PMU on preparation of he work plans, budgets, overall implementation, monitoring and evaluation of the project.
·Preparation of the TORs for national consultants/civil societies as well as evaluation of prospective candidates/organizations.
·Preparation of TORs for sub contacts and evaluation of tender documents. Coordinate and supervise the technical activities of national and international consultants to secure the out put planned under the Project.
·In developing and implementing social mobilization, ensure that participatory approaches are being used to reflect problems and perceptions of the different categories of water users.
·To help institutionalize M&E system and indicators for monitoring and preparation of Monthly, quarterly & annual Progress reports at the Province level.
·Responsible for organizing Consultation workshops, seminars and trainings for the civil society organizations on the mandate of the programme objectives. 

·Help and support the Project Manager in implementation of the programme activities at the Provincial as well as at the district level.
·Coordinate and liaison with all the partners including civil society organizations and concerned district administrations for implementation of the Project activities.
·Ensuring collecting of data from all the Union Councils and incorporating the data at the district level to the software through the nominating data collectors.
·To help develop/refine/institutionalize Project M&E mechanisms for timely reporting to Project Management Unit/Provincial Steering Committee /National Steering Committee.
·Regularly coordinate with the district Government and Union administration in the Project Districts for ensuring smooth functioning of the Project activities.
·Ensure implementation & documentation of targets and performance indicators to be included in monitoring system for project activities, annual reviews and reports.

·Responsible for supervising and managing two field Units.
·Responsible for the social mobilization of both units and preparation of social mobilization strategy for both the units on need basis.
·Preparation of annual and quarterly work plans and progress reports in close coordination with CTA and credit and Monitoring section.
·Guiding and supervising the junior staff in Organization of communities, creating awareness and identifying the needs of developing groups.
·Maintain close liaison and excellent working relationship with the government line agencies at district level and at Northern areas level.
·Actively participate in planning, cost sharing, implementation and maintenance of productivity and social infrastructure development schemes.
·Arranging PRA exercises in close consultation with the CDC, the line agency staff and the Community (villagers).
·Arrange and conduct training for CO members as required for community development activities in the field of capacity building, credit & management and resource mobilization.
·Conduction of FDGs with the stake holders for taking their view points on the plans and future interventions in their areas and villages.
·Supervise and follow-up work of the junior staff in the COs constantly motivating them and up grading their skills.
·Study the existing structure of the community and diagnose the problems, which were hurdles in the way of development. Also have to find out solution for that 
·Strengthening the interrelationship of the community for better utilization of local resources.
·Convincing the community for adoption of new development approaches to ensure sustainability.
