It was established in 1974 with an authorized capital of Rs.1,000 million to expand and help mineral development activities in the country. It is involved in the exploration and evaluation of economic mineral deposits, preparation of techno-economic feasibility reports, mining, and marketing. PMDC is operating 4 Coal Mines, 4 Salt Mines/ quarries, and a silica sand quarry. PMDC shares 17% of the coal and 58% of the total salt production in the country.
 Maintain effective liaison with Chairperson, Board, and Management of the company in connection with holding meetings of the Board and its Committees.
 To consolidate and distribute agenda along with working papers of BoD and Committee’s meeting to members.
 Prepare minutes of each Board and Committee meeting to ensure that all proceedings of meetings are properly recorded and properly communicated.
 Ensure all statuary corporate compliances of organization in light of SECP Guidelines, Rules, and regulations.
 Maintained Share Register, Issuance of Share Certificate, and finalization of share transfer/transmission deed.
 Logistic arrangement of all board and committee meetings.
 Liaison with stakeholder’s i.e PICG, SECP, Ministry, and Petroleum division.
