To engage external Counsels for conducting diverse litigation by or against the Company before Lower Courts, NIRC, Pakistan Information Commission, Hon’ble High Court & Supreme Court. Negotiating the special fee with Counsels.
Assist in vetting of contracts and agreements.
Coordinating with different internal departments for provision of comments for court cases.
Intimations to Company Officials for deposing evidences in Company cases.
To attend High Court and lower Courts on behalf of SNGPL.
Attending meeting of High Value Cases and recording minutes of meeting.
Seeking management approval for placement of Advocates on of panel of SNGPL.
Supervision of maintenance of updated lists of court cases especially the High Profile Cases.
To vet and finalize the plaints and replies to be filed before different judicial forums.
To ensure prompt action and active follow up in respect of Court cases.
To draft letters, minutes of meetings and memorandums in day to day matters.
To deal/attend any other matters assigned by the G.M (LAW).
