I was among those pioneers who provided a solid base for the proper functioning of the Registrar Office for facilitation of the staff, faculty and students of the University. Moreover, my responsalities had included the below appearing roles:
i.Formation of Authorities of the University such as: The Senate, the Syndicate and the Academic Council
ii.Conduction of Election to various constituencies of the Senate, the Syndicate and the Academic Council.
iii.Administer the daily operations of all teaching and administrative departments of the University.
iv.Provide administrative support/ Human Resource to all the teaching and administrative Departments.
v.Perform complex professional, technical, and administrative tasks relating to the administration of the university departments.
vi. Process appointment cases of all employees.
vii.Process the Promotion and up gradation, retirements, preparation of pension papers, transfers, and postings cases of employees besides initiating their permission / no objection certificates cases for various purposes.
viii.Initiate leave cases and matters pertaining to disciplinary actions.
ix.Correspondence with relevant government departments.
x.Keep a record of the employees’ personal files.
Being Assistant Director Administration of the newly established University, this position was not less than a great challange for me. I used to handle the internal administrative issues along with those of external affairs of the university staff and studentds.
I used to be a point of contact for all employees, providing administrative support and solving their queries swiftly.
During this period of time, i was incharge media and communication and used to deal the local and international electronic/print media. Besides, i used to make correspondance with different government/non-government organisation. Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Right to Information Commission, District and High Courts are worth mentioning for my dealings on behalf of the University.
