Ms. Rukia has earned thirteen years of experience in the social development sector having various program mid-career positions at local and National NGOs, as well as international NGOs. Having an academic background of Master in Sociology and MBAs in Finance and Marketing, she has also been engaged with public sector service delivery and policy organizations within the Government at district and provincial levels as well as civil society organizations and media. She also has contributed a lot throughout her career towards capacity building of teams, local CBOs/NGOs, and social development partners as a trainer and facilitator in various cross-thematic areas. Ms. Rukia is equipped to work in humanitarian crises i.e. emergencies due to natural disasters or social /civil conflicts as well as to undertake recovery and rehabilitation interventions for affected communities.
