THAHIM Abdul Majeed having over 16 years of experiences in operational and non-operational interventions in Social Development, Emergencies, Disasters, Relief, Rehabilitation, IDPs-Refugees, Reintegration-Rehabilitation, Livelihoods (including Cash for Work) & Early Recovery, Poverty Alleviation, Child Protection, Coordination, and Environment projects/programmes in Sindh province of Pakistan. Majeed as a development professional experiences maintained excellent program development, liaising, networking, project management, fund management, proposal writing and communication efforts to his best manner. He earned sound academic qualifications with two Masters’ degrees to his credit and attended several trainings, national and regional conferences and workshops. During his study he also sharpened his analytical skills through working in Journalism and conducted several dialogues on socio-political, cultural and environmental issues and wrote several articles in renowned regional and national newspapers and magazines to promote awareness in masses. My job responsibilities were to look after three projects running in six districts of Sindh i.e. Hyderabad, Jamshoro, Badin, Sanghar, Tando Allahyar and Matiari. Beside this I was engaged to maintain strong liaison with government line departments i.e. Agriculture department, fisheries, forest & wildlife, P&DD, Social Welfare Department and District Officials. Ensured timely implementation of project activities and compilation of monthly, quarterly and six monthly reports for donors.

I worked as a Partnership Fund Executive in WWF’s Indus for All Programme at Karachi Office since, the duties and accomplishments were:
1. Developing an effective communication with partners, steering committee officials and Indus for All Programme management team
2. Maintaining strong networking with government officials, steering committee members and line departments
3. Control, evaluate and monitoring of 55 on-going projects awarded by Indus for All Programme-Partnership Fund and running in Gilgit-Baltistan, Mureee, Punjab and Sindh.

11. Maintain all relevant documents, records, partnership fund proposal formats
12. Compile list of partners, fund steering committee and other stakeholders and update their contact information
13. Arranging steering committee meetings, compiling meeting minutes and disseminate to concerned members.
14. Organizing meetings with partners, arranging field visits and capacity building programmes
15. Facilitate External Auditors to conduct audits of partnership fund projects and communicating shortcoming if any to partners
16. Writing & Compiling success stories of funded projects and its publication in Indus for All Programme newsletter and Indus for All website
