My duties and responsibilities include the following;
• Effective planning and execution of assignments to meet stringent deadlines.
• Application of international financial reporting standards, international auditing standards and technical standards.
• Overall planning of audits, conducting initial planning meetings with clients to understand and co-develop expectations and designing audit strategies in consultation with the engagement partner, after assessing the underlying audit risk in light of the assessment of the client’s overall control environment.
• Establishing the overall audit strategy and preparing audit plans in the context of applicable financial reporting frameworks, industry specific reporting requirements and reporting objectives of the engagement.
• Evaluating a system of internal control and risk management procedures, identifying control weaknesses and suggesting appropriate best practices to client management and/or those charged with governance.
• Obtaining a thorough understanding of the nature of the client’s business, the business and regulatory environment in which it operates, SWOT analysis, identification of critical success factors and key performance indicators, initial overall analytical review, understanding major business processes, analysis and testing of internal controls at interim and final stages and detailed testing of significant account balances and transactions.
• Preparation of final audit deliverables-the audit report, the management letter and other reports and certificates.

My duties and responsibilities include the following;
• Formulation of internal control policies relating to financial and human resource matters.
• Application and verification of control checks over the financial reporting system.
• Discussion and meetings with various levels of client’s management.
• Preparation of purchase rate variances while comparing with market rates.
• Verification of all sorts of payment vouchers before payments to be made.
• Preparation of stock reconciliations on daily basis.
• Reporting the work pendency’s of different working departments directly to the Director on daily basis.
• Reporting to the Director on monthly basis regarding major weaknesses in the financial reporting and internal control system.
• Drafting the recommendations regarding critical areas of the monthly report.
