Key Responsibilities;
Choosing correct HS codes as per customs tariff.
Checking importability and all other legal aspects regarding import.
Calculating duties and taxes.
Checking for SRO’s or Exemptions if any applicable.
Arranging NOC / Certificates if required from Govt. Departments.
Making quotations for clients.
Follow up with shipper / exporter.
Follow up with freight forwarders.
Import Documentation.
Follow up with bank for import documentation i.e. filing EIF upon
Contract / Collection (DA, DP), Open account, LC basis and e.t.c.
LC documentation / LC handling.
Tracking of shipment and documents.
GD Filing in WeBoc system.
Follow up clearing agents for timely and cost effective customs
clearance.
Self Customs Clearance (without involving clearing agent) at Lahore
Airport, Lahore Dry Ports, Peshawar Dry Port and sea ports at Karachi.
Follow up with local transporters.
Warehouse Management.
Ensuring timely delivery of shipments to clients.
Any other task appointed by higher management.
