Coordinating a Project funded by GCF via WWF-USA includes Recharge Pakistan Project seeks to create a paradigm shift in the country’s flood and water resource management efforts by establishing the cost effectiveness, benefits and sustainability of ecosystem-based adaptation and green infrastructure interventions in the Indus Basin by Following Outcomes:
• EbA and green infrastructure interventions with improved community-led management reduce flood risk and enhance the climate resilience of the most vulnerable people in Pakistan’s Indus Basin
• Enabling environment for climate action that has new procedures for implementing EbA and green infrastructure interventions for flood and water resources management in Pakistan
• Enhanced resilience of community livelihoods in the Indus Basin will be achieved by training communities and smallholder farmers on how to enhance existing agricultural practices, prevalent across the Indus Basin, to better withstand current and future climate change scenarios through improved irrigation practices to conserve water, soil management to enhance yields and reduce agricultural expansion, and introducing new crop varieties which require less water and can withstand more extreme temperatures caused by climate change.
Accomplishments:
• Supporting the implementation of community-based climate-resilient technologies including on-farm climate-resilient agriculture practices, integrated watershed management practices, and sustainable management of forests and rangelands.
• Providing guidance and oversight to Extension agents of implementing partners to carry out climate-smart agriculture activities, focusing on crop production, soil health conservation, and water management, in alignment with the agreed scope of USAID.
• Developing a comprehensive curriculum, training modules, and workplans for Farmer Field Schools (FFSs), centered on climate-resilient agricultural practices, in collaboration with provincial agriculture departments, local NGOs, and academic institutions.
• Leading and coordinating the implementation of multiple projects focused on sustainable agriculture practices, including climate-smart agriculture, soil health, water conservation, and biodiversity conservation.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with diverse stakeholders, including government agencies, NGOs, and farmer communities, to foster collaboration and facilitate project implementation.

Producer Unit Manager, Lodhran - Pakistan
Facilitated implementation of project funded by BCI via WWF-Sweden, Strengthening Better Cotton in a timely manner, benefiting the cotton farmers.
Accomplishments:

Participate in training delivered by BCI accredited trainer and attend any subsequent refresher training
Capacity building of field staff on Better Cotton Standard System
Arrange capacity building activities for farmers on the requirement of the Better Cotton Standard System during the cotton growing season
Implementation of Better Cotton Standard System with in the PU Ensure that farmers record keeping of the Pus is updated in time

Project Officer, Khanewal - Pakistan
Managed 2 Projects funded by IKEA via WWF-Sweden and IDH including Climate-Smart Production System for GHG emission reduction, water stewardship and sustainable land use management to improve socio-economic and environmental resilience of cotton farming communities of Pakistan (CSPS), Agroforestry for Carbon Sequestration, Biodiversity Conservation, Agroecosystem Enrichment to improve socio-economic and environmental resilience of cotton farming communities of Pakistan (AFB).
Accomplishments:

Lead project team of up to 09 individuals, ensuring field level implementation of project activities through planning and technical support to field staff.
Developed a trained cadre of field staff, created digital training and distribution material and carried out Training of Trainers (ToT) workshops.
Provided technical assistance to project teams in conducting baseline surveys to assess GHG emissions from crop production and protection practices.
Provided assistance in women centric gender and skill development activities at the ground level to enhance the economic buffering capacities of communities against climate change variabilities.
Through on-site trainings and demonstrations, promoted sustainable livestock management practices.
Planned and organized farmer and worker trainings on climate smart crop production and protection practices, water stewardship, sustainable land use management, biodiversity conservation, and increased agricultural productivity through sustainable agroforestry practices.

Field Officer, Khanewal, Bahawalpur - Pakistan
Facilitated implementation of project funded by IKEA via WWF-Sweden, Strengthening Climate Resilient Production of Cotton through Climate Resilient Sustainable Agriculture (CRCP) in a timely manner, benefiting the cotton farmers.
Accomplishments:

Facilitated in implementation of Climate Resilient Cotton Production (CRCP) technologies among farming communities
Conducted onsite training for the targeted communities on crop production, crop protection, soil health improvement, water conservation and livestock management.
Established demonstration plots and shared the best climate-resilient practices among farming communities
Kept close relationships with farmers and local level communities and aware them of climate change.
Provided regular updates on climate resilient interventions on weekly or monthly reports as required by project
Provided substantive support and input to the project team in conducting project knowledge dissemination activities through the organization of meetings, recording of minutes, and report writing.
