Project Engineer from 06-04-2016 to date at Volka Food International Pvt Limited Multan,
Pakistan.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for the E2E installation and commissioning of the plants including project planning,
initiating, Budget preparations, execution to handling of the line to production.
Key Responsibilities:
● Planning, scheduling, Equipment selection, briefing of overall Project.
● Utility maintenance, improvement and extension planning, execution and testing.
● Prepare, schedule coordinate and monitor the assigned Engineering Projects related to
Utilities division.
● Interact daily with the clients to interpret their needs and requirements and represent them in the
field.
● Perform overall quality control of the work (budget, schedule, plans, and Personnel’s performance)
and report regularly on project status.
● Cooperate and communicate effectively with General Manager Operation and other Project
participants to provide assistance and technical support related to field.
● Review engineering deliverables and initiate appropriate corrective actions on demand of client.
● Fully reviews drawings & specifications in preparation of subcontractor scope.
● Understanding contract documents and identifies gaps in the systems.
● Maintains and updates Purchasing Schedule to meet project timelines.
● Identifies lead times for materials purchases and tracks fabrication/ ROJ dates.
● Actively assists project superintendent with enforcement of site safety
● Pipe sizing, Rout mapping, isometric drawing layout, calculating BOQs, RFQs, Comparative
statements for equipment’s selections.
● HVAC System piping and duct designing, pipe sizing for Chill water, Hot water, Air, Gas, steam
and Condensate line sizes along with control mechanism.
● Installation 5.5 MW Wartsila Engine with its complete auxiliaries .
COMPLETED PROJECTS:
(Trainee Officer) (2016-2017)
● 1000 USRT Steam absorption Chiller (ST-1157 JH SAMJUNG) installation work supervision.
● Winkler+Dünnebier GmbH Jelly Plant utility supply including dryer, cooling screw and 30 drying rooms as Trainee officer.
● Utility piping layout, installation, erection for Production department Hansel Processing kitchen line for Éclair 1.5 TON/hr, Filly Line 750 Kg/h, Caotech chocolate line 1500kg/h, Bar Line with Hansel Processing kitchen 750kg/h and Aastad Denmark forming line , Boom Boom Bubble Gum utility supply for U1 Theegarten Pactec wrapping machines, and Preform Extruders.
Junior Executive/ Junior Project Engineer (2018-2019)
● Building B and B Extension HVAC system installation @1250 USRT cooling capacity Air conditioning system installation complete in all respect.
● PAVAN –Italy short cut Pasta line (3400 kg/h) utility installation, erection and commissioning containing gas Boiler, air cooled chiller and Reverse Osmosis Plant.
● 1650 USRT Shaungliang steam absorption chiller (ST-1653 HJ) installation, erection and commissioning including 3000USRT YUANHENG Cooling Tower.
● PAVAN –Italy LONG cut Pasta line (2400 kg/h) utility installation, erection and commissioning containing gas Boiler, air cooled chiller and Reverse Osmosis Plant
● Hansel Processing Hard Candy line 2000kg/hr. line utility lines layout, installation and erection work with specific control mechanism in Hot and Chill water piping.
● Pectin Depositing Toffee 1000 kg/hr. accompanied by Carrier Glycol chiller (250 USRT) and WDS Cooling Tunnel Erection, Installation & commissioning.
Executive Mechanical/Project Engineer (2020)
● Successfully installed and commissioned the Limitech ketchup and Mayonnaise line 1000kg/h, CIP chamber limitech, Volpak Filling line, FBL Cooling tunnel and other machines, it also includes design installation and design of HVAC including AHU,FCU, ducting, ventilation, steam, Ice water and etc.
● Responsible for E2E Installations and commissioning of Spice Grinding plant with 1000kg/h capacity including mixers, grinding machines, packing machines, Electric chiller of 274 ton capacity including air and steam piping as well.
● Successfully installed Fire Alarm system for Ketchup plant including design, technical comparatives, and installation and commissioning as well.
● Successfully installed and commissioned the Memak Chocolate Line 1000kg/h capacity containing all utilities as well.
Power House Project & Operation (3rd Aug-2020 -Continued):
● Responsible for the Installation of 5.5 MW Wartsila 16V32LN-5.5MW Engine including all its auxiliaries like Cooling tower, Fuel Booster unit, Turbochargers, Separator units and etc.
● Daily Based Operations and maintenance of Existing Wartsila 16V32LN-5.5MW & Wartsila 9R32-3.7MW.
Operational Responsibilities:
● To ensure/achieve maximum production by planning scheduled stoppages.
● Take corrective action during system operational disturbance and/or bring such disturbances to the attention of Superior.
● To continuously work for improving the operating life of the equipment and reduce the maintenance cost.
● To ensure that the stand by equipment is available for an immediate start up to eliminate production loss due to an emergency failure of the running equipment.
● In Operation I am responsible to prepare & maintain, daily Generation & Distribution Report, Reliability& Availability, Monthly, Annual Reports, Chemical Record, Engine Performance Sheet, Plant Control Sheet, SLC & SFC Reports…etc.
● Maintain/Track Power Plant statistical performance, production, root cause analysis and make suggestions/recommendations to the manager.
Maintenance Responsibilities:
● To study the operations and maintenance tasks on daily basis and make arrangements for in time execution for the job through field staff.
● Responsible to Perform maintenance both (Time based & Condition based.)
● To plan and carry out routine, preventative, Schedule & breakdown maintenance for all the engine and auxiliaries.
● To ensure that daily/weekly maintenance checks on the operating equipment are being performed accordingly...
● Maintenance & overhauling of all machineries in power plant such as Engines, auxiliaries, Cooling Towers, pumps, Coolers, Lube oil & HFO. Separators, Fuel Injection valves, injection pumps, Cylinder heads, tappet clearance, deflection of crankshaft, connecting rods, main bearing, pistons, turbocharger, charge air cooler, all types of filters, all types of valves, pre-filtration units, Starting air & Instrument air system, Compressors, Heat Exchangers, Radiators, Blower& Turbine washing, ventilation systems, storage tanks, and related equipment.
