•• Operate and maintain the entire Connect network to achieve and maintaining service stability, network performance and high availability
• Investigating, diagnosing and resolve all network problems
• Planning and deploying the Optome Pvt. Ltd. GPON network.
• Working on Multi-vendor devices such as Cisco, Raisecom and Huawei
• Configuring and Troubleshooting Access, Distribution & Core layer Switches
• Configuring and Troubleshooting VLANS in Switched Networks
• Hands on experience on Cisco 4500,3500,3600,3700 series switches and Nexus 6004
• Hands on experience with Multi-vendor OLT’s such as Huawei MA5600T,MA5608T and Raisecom ISCOM6800
• Proactive monitoring of the network
• Enabling port-security for preventing unauthorized network access
• LAN technologies - Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, Gigabit Ethernet, & 10 Gigabit Ethernet, Port- channel, VLANS, VTP, STP, RSTP, 802.1Q & MSTP
• Network monitoring through various NMS tools such as MRTG, Solar Winds ORION, Libre, Cacti, Raisecom NMS
• Taking customers through a series of actions, either face to face or over the telephone.
• Network System Design and Implementation: Designs and implements network systems.
• Planning: Conducts short- and long-term planning to meet network requirements.
• Operate, monitor and maintain the entire Optix network to achieve and maintaining service stability, network performance and high availability
• Hands on experience on Cisco 4500X,3500,3600,3700 series switches, BRAS ME-60 and Juniper SBR AAA server
• Hands on experience with Multi-vendor OLT’s such as Huawei MA5600T,MA5608T, Raisecom ISCOM6800 and Calix E7-2 OLT
• Working on Multi-vendor devices such as Cisco, Raisecom, Calix and Huawei
• Network monitoring through various NMS tools such as MRTG, Solar Winds ORION, STG, Cacti,Huawei U2000
• Provide troubleshooting in case of any outage/problem
• Deploying of new customers on our network
• Bandwidth Management and IP allocations for our static IP customers.
• Contact vendors for support and faulty equipment’s replacement.
• Provide technical support to field engineers.
• Produce periodic reports about the network activities, network performance and capacity.
• Report on monthly basis to line manager on total percentage of outage per region
• Follow up with the line manager on performance & progress of ongoing work
