HANDS is working on a project Water Governance and cpacity building support with the funding of USAID, for technical assistance of Municipal Committe Jacobabad for smooth operation service of water to the citizens of Jacobabad

Execution of schemes as per given schedule time, logistic management, site supervision and submission of bills to Military Engineering services department.

Supervise coordinate with contractor for the construction of the site

· Review and comment on all sub-contractor’s materials submissions, shop drawings and method statements;

· Ensure that the civil, electrical and mechanical work is carried out as per the approved technical specifications, drawings, BOQ and conditions of contract.

· Ensure that all the work is executed within the specified time frame.

· Review sub-contractors progress payment invoices.

· Monitor and report on the sub-contractor’s compliance with the environmental management plan, health and safety plans and quality assurance plan.

· Assist with administration of the sub-contract.

· Liaise with the program and operations staff and with the owner of the student centre, as required.

· Prepare weekly, monthly and final progress reports and share with relevant departments.

· Manage and oversee the construction closeout phase.

• Design and implement transparent and professional staff attendance and monitoring system
• Ensure development & implementation of Operational Plan for the City
• Ensure Water supply (Water Works, treatment plants & Intakes etc), sewerage, drainage and solid waste system is working to its optimal efficiency based on a well defined Key Performance Indicators
• Ensure Water supply Treatment Plant, Sewerage Plants, Landfill site and disposal Station are working at optimally the time
• Implement and Maintain Procurement, Asset & Fleet Management and Customer Complaint Management System , procedures and documentation
• Collection and Reporting of Bench Marking Data and GIS Data to NSUSC as agreed
• Planning and Budgeting for Optimal Asset Operation, Replacement and Management
• Liaison with TMO, Administrator/Nazim, DCO and Citizens on Behalf of NSUSC
• Monthly Progress Report, Procurement and Account Reporting
• Sub Engineer’s and Supervisor’s Management and Coaching
• Any other Task assigned by Dir O&S

• Drinking water schemes (Water treatment plants, Reverse Osmoses Plant, Rain water harvesting ponds Reservoirs, deep hand pumps, extension pipe lines, Deep wells, tube wells, overhead tanks, Slow Sand Filter & Bio sand Filters).
• Sanitation (Brick/CC Pavements of streets, Drains & Latrines).
• School & Health Center buildings with all facilities.
• Link roads, Culverts and small bridge.
• Lining of irrigation channels & reservoir.
• Micro irrigation system (Drip Irrigation & Sprinkler Irrigation) and effective irrigation & land development projects

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop designs; prepare drawings, BOQ, estimates of cost and labor of above mentioned projects.
