• Continuously liaise with the Regional Community facilitator to ensure adherence to social aspects of implementation of the project interventions.
• Be responsible to assist the project in identifying the potential service provider technical in the target areas for the implementation of the rpoject within the given guidelines.
• Contribute, togther with the field facilitator, to facilitate & coach SPs-F in the process of identification of the potential based options together with the concerened communities.
• Facilitate/Implement specific technical surveys in the target areas.
• Be responsible for the quality control of the schemes. Assure a regular technical monitoring of the field activities strictly adhering to the agreed design, collect and regularly updte data about the schemesregarding all necessaey steps.
• Contribute to the elaboration of YPO and progress reports of the project
• Contribute to design appropiate O&M procedures with communities, and if necessary, train the concerened community representatives on how to implement these procedures.
• Strictly assure the principle of do no harm in all social processes in the implementation of infrastructure schemes (social, environmental, security, disasters).
• Offer problem solving attitude, offer support in finding appropiate solutions and document for learning. Report to W4L management any unexpected problem or difficulty and seek appropiate advice.
• Participate in learning activities, staff meetings, exposure visits, and other meetings as requested by W4L management.
• Facilitate the organization of project events at district level in their respective distracts.
• As an integral member of the intercooperation team, contribute to the overall process of knowledge management and dissemination of lessons learnt.

• Assisting EDO, CDD, and other key staff of DIU and Line department in the preparation of annual work plans particularly guidance of the project team on social and productive schemes and associated costs.
• Ensuring timely completion of the infrastructure sub project reflected in the project annual plan.
• Ensuring active participation of concerned CBOs in the implementation of their infrastructure schemes.
• Ensuring coordination and cooperation amongst various stakeholders during implementation of infrastructure related schemes for quality standards.
• Providing inputs and material support to M&E and infrastructure specialist.
• Document and sharing of physical and financial progress of the developmental schemes.
• Ensuring quality work, timely completion and developing a maintenance schedule for the completed schemes.
• Preparing Detail Estimates (BOQ’s), Budgets, drawings and Designs for PI’s. Implementation, supervision and regular monitoring of the PI’s.

As part of the Program Management Unit and under the direct supervision of the Country Program Manager, the incumbent had the following responsibilities;
• Assess, plan, design, implement, monitor, and report WASH project activities to supervisor.
• Ensure activities comply with appropriate national and international standards (Sphere) and are focused on improving the environmental health conditions of the beneficiaries.
• Ensure that water supply and sanitation activities are implemented as per design, standards and schedule, agreed with donors and QRC management.
• Follow-up on hygiene promotion staff and ensure that water & sanitation education is adequately delivered and local communities are actively involved.
• Coordinate systematic surveys and water quality analysis.
• Coordinate with relevant health staff to stay updated on morbidity rate and trends on any outbreak. Oversee design, installation, and construction of latrines, Washing places and water storage tanks.
• Provide routine training to the subordinate staff for their professional development.
• Develop data collection systems to monitor and ensure quality control of all the activities.
• Analyze population based EH data collected by the field staff.
• Provide budget management and oversight for implementation of EH activities.
• Ensure all procurement and logistical needs of the project are efficiently managed.
• Write reports and conduct liaison with other WASH cluster, Govt agencies and other humanitarian agencies.

As part of the program management unit and under the direct supervision of the Program Coordinator, the incumbent had the following responsibilities:

• Provide technical engineering information and interpretation of plans, detail sheets and specifications for the successful implementation of the projects
• Full working knowledge of surveying techniques and procedures is necessary
• Prepare detailed cost estimates, planning, implementation and technical feasibility for project proposals for Irrigation channel and DWSS.
• Determine staff input and time requirements for project construction, implementation and supervision of Irrigation Channels and DWSS.
• She/he shall at all times know progress of the ongoing projects with respect to planning and should be able to give details of why project ahead/behind schedule at all times
• Provide complete support during supervision of constructions; carry out quality control inspections and monitor progress in DWSS, Irrigation Channels.
• Develop standard drawings, bills of quantities and detail materials list for projects
• Provide basic technical trainings to the local communities for the sustainability of the water supply schemes
• Where possible develop and propose new projects

Under the supervision of, and in accordance with directives received from the Program Officer and the Agency Development Officer, I was responsible for the implementation of activities of FSP Program at FR Lakki Marwat. The activities include responding to the needs of the program for important, large scale and high visibility as well as small scale infrastructure projects at FR Lakki Marwat. The key responsibilities include but are not limited to;

• Manage technical and engineering components related to FSP program implemented in an agency within FATA including the management of contractors.
• Design architectural and structural drawings as well as create bills of quantity, material specifications lists, and other technical documentation relating to infrastructure programming within FATA.
• Maintain working relationships with local, district, provincial and regional governmental authorities and draw up, when required, Memorandum of Understanding with Municipal Governments, program-targeted government ministries and other potential partners. In coordination with government authorities assist with the development of ministry-level action plans and facilitate program-targeted actions.
• Facilitate activities that assist government authorities to liaise with community leaders, individuals and groups to identify and prioritize community needs.
• Work with government and local authorities, leaders, individuals and groups to identify and implement selected community development projects.
• Attend meetings to discuss potential areas of mutual interest and benefit with program targeted municipal authorities, government ministries, local and international NGOs, and FATA communities.
• Monitor coordinating mechanisms for project implementation and reporting with local authorities, government ministries, UN Agencies and NGOs.
• Identify appropriate mechanisms or vehicles to adapt structures and to tender bids from contractors or local labor.
• Negotiate contracts or agreements with contractors, and assist in administration of grants.
• Supervise projects in coordination with government or local technical personnel and in collaboration with FSP technicians and provide regular reporting regarding the status of projects.
