Regular and close interactions with the farmers and local communities to understand the needs on the ground, existing issues and possible solution options

Develop and organize crop based FFS and implement all FFS stages and components with regular field follow-up and interaction with participants
The FFS facilitator works directly with farmers, and helps them discover important concepts/ issues in crops farming through practical learning.
Conduct awareness-raising meetings to introduce the FFS concept, identify the farmers and learning site/ sites
Contribute to the development of training curricula and facilitate training of farmers through season long FFS.
Assist in establishment of demonstration/learning sites to run FFS, arrange for Farmer Field days, exposure/ exchange visits.
Report progress of the FFS and demonstrations plots activities
Follow up and coordinate with stakeholders including Government line agencies (Agriculture Extension and OFWM Departments) and other NGOs and Development Agencies working in the districts for their contribution to the FFS sessions.
Organize capacity development / training initiatives and other field based activities i.e. farmer consultative meetings, gender sensitive trainings, workshops, nutrition awareness, (market) exposure visits, monitoring visits and field days

Support district health management in planning and implementation of EPI/MNCH services. Provide technical support to district EPI / Health Authorities / EPI staff at district, tehsil/ UC and HF level regarding planning, micro planning, implementation of plans, supervision, monitoring and evaluation of the immunization related activities. Submission of plans for endorsement by the DHO of the district.
Ensure that outreach/mobile services reach every community.
Perform district level validation of micro plans.
Monitor and supervise the overall Routine Immunization activities in the District.
Conduct field visits to identify gaps in EPI services at all levels and identify and recommend areas for improvement.
Provide supportive supervision (on-job training) for all EPI staff. Perform field validation of EPI coverage data and efficacy of services through cluster check. Monitor vaccinator performance during field visits and report vaccinator performance findings to district management and provincial EPI.
Report any flaws/shortcomings in data collection at district or service delivery level.
Enhance the capacity of the district EPI/MNCH staff in collection, documentation and reporting of reliable quality data through trainings and supportive supervision.
Ensure the Timeliness, completeness of coverage reports / data on monthly basis to provincial EPI/MNCH program.
