I am an economist working as a lecturer in IIU, Islamabad at present. I have a strong grip on hardcore economic issues and techniques, qualitative and quantitative data analysis. Prior to IIUI, I have worked in the Planning Commission of Pakistan and Finance Division as a Research Officer. I also have a one and half a year experience in Pakistan Broadcasting Corporation as a Sub-Ed in the news section.
I am a staunch supporter and believer of environmental protection and conservation. I believe, globally we must move towards environment friendly strategies in transportation, production and construction. I have taught and learnt the environment protection and conservation courses and I am of the idea that we must explore the ways for green economy and green transportation.
I strongly believe in teamwork and leadership skills with capabilities in moving the vehicle as a whole. As I come from a liberal and humanitarian background so I believe in equality, fair competition and result-driven strategies.
I have strong theoretical, analytical and quantitative skills which help me and my team in achieving the goals smoothly. I Have a flexible persona so adaptation and blending in in a new environment is as easy as being at an evening meet-up with friends I am open to new ideas, technology and culture also I am forthcoming in accepting challenges.
A rich professional experience gives me exposure which is a highly prized possession as I have been rubbing shoulders with top government functionaries and been part of decisions of national importance. Communication and teaching experience enrich my human capital to be able to share and transform ideas in recipient friendly manner. Debating, anchoring, compering and convening discussion sessions are also the expertise that I gained while being affiliated with social and political NGOs such as Liberal Forum Pakistan, Friedrich Nauman Stiftung Foundation, Future Youth Group and All Pakistan Press Foundation.
As a faculty member in International Institute of Islamic Economics of IIUI, I have been teaching subjects involving a range of competencies such as Econometrics, Micro and Macro Analysis, International Trade Theory and Policy, Pakistan Economy, Development Economics and Monetary Economics. Besides that I have been actively taking part in the research seminars, conference and theses presentation/defence. As I have been teaching \'Research Methods\' and Econometrics, hence I have strong grip upon analytical approaches and techniques such as E views, SPSS and Excell.
As a Research Officer in Planning Commission and in Finance Division, I have been reviewing quarterly reports and monetary policy given by State Bank of Pakistan.I have also taken part in arrangement of regional conferences involving SAARC and ECO members. I also took part in hosting various sessions pertaining to energy crisis and water management. As a Section Officer in Investment Wing of Finance Division I have been supervising the budgetary matters of Competitiveness Support Fund, a project of USAID. I have also been coordinating with CSF with regard to the progress of the projects funded by CSF through the country.
As a Sub-Ed in PBC, I was responsible for preparation of news bulletins pertaining to local, district, regional, provincial and national news bulletins. I have also been casting the news occasionally. Besides desk work, reporting and covering various social and political events was another major responsibility that I undertook.
