I have over 3 years of work experience as a Research Officer in Public Health systems. . I have written a large number of grant proposals for both national as well as international funding agencies such as NIH Fogarty, WHO, Gates Foundation, EMPHNET, NIHR, HEC and have successfully managed one national and two international funded grants during this time. The grant proposals have ranged from surveillance to community health, lab diagnostics and Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. My versatility and quick learning make me the ideal candidate to successfully work on multifaceted public health funding opportunities. Due to my ability to manage time throughout the grant writing and submission period, I have successfully submitted all the proposals before the deadline despite the various complicated submission portals such as grants.gov and grantsolution.gov.
During this role, I have acquired a thorough insight into understanding the numerous aspects of IHR and GHSA and how these platforms aim at ensuring attaining global health through different facets. While working on grant proposals, I use exceptional research and communication skills to build effective liaison between various stakeholders for the smooth management of the projects. I have maintained a network of connections at national as well as provincial and district levels during my time to fully understand and incorporate the issues faced at different tiers of the public health system of Pakistan. My thoroughness in terms of research and my grant writing skills have ensured that the grantors understand where and how the funds will be effectively utilized to achieve the desired outcomes. I am proficient in utilizing project management tools and am an expert in drafting out achievable aims, objectives and precise timelines, outcomes and indicators. I have the ability to formulate complicated budget sheets and narratives as per the requirement of the grantor. Overall, I excel at document and financial management, monitoring and evaluation of the projects and technical report writing.

Research Officer
1. Conduct research for emerging, re-emerging infectious diseases, non-communicable diseases, disease occurring at human, animal, environmental interface under GHSA and IHR
2. Part of the knowledge management team and responsible for supporting and coordinating the research and knowledge management activities
