National Rural Support Programme (NRSP) a Micro Finance Institution registered under Companies Ordinance 1984 section 42, established in 1991 with the initial funding from the Government of Pakistan. NRSP had started the major activity of fostering the rural poor into Community Organizations (COs) that could be used as a platform for any developmental activity like micro financing, community physical infrastructure and technology development, education and capacity building at the local level. NRSP\'s Micro finance and Enterprise Development Programme (MEDP) has been providing micro credit since 1992. The Programme provides services to men and women in rural and urban areas, satisfying the financial needs of farmers and small entrepreneurs through crop, livestock and enterprise related loans.
As a District Program Officer, my achievements are as follows:

• Developed Communication and outreach policy for District Dera Ghazi Khan.
• Office administration of Micro finance and Enterprise Development offices at District Dera Ghazi Khan.
• 99.5% annual achievement of assigned targets of MEDP portfolio.
• PAR of clean portfolio reduced to 1%.
• Devised most transparent system in MEDP operations by developing strong monitoring at District level.
• Reduced OER and improve OSS of Dera Ghazi Khan District up to 160%.
• Improved database and record keeping at field unit and district level.
• Ensured risk mitigation in programme activities by applying carrot and stick policy.
• Established team work within staff by motivational activities in annual appreciation ceremonies.
• Played a leading role in successfully implementing Govt. of Punjab funded “Empowerment of Kissan through Financial and Digital inclusion Project” (Interest free loan project) at NRSP by initiating digital financial services first time at District Dera Ghazi Khan.
• Currently handling a portfolio of more than PKR. 1.5 Billion Annually with 50 Million surplus.
